Well I finally had a chance to post some pictures of my new Horne's brushbow. When I called Mark to order this bow I told him what I wanted.Black Diamond wood riser, maple limbs, and black glass my favorite. Mark said you want a blood and guts bow. I said yep that's right and do me a favor can you put that on the bow?The shot photos are around 22 yards. I was trying out some new carbons with 175 and 250 grain heads.Pick a spot hit the dot. Sorry to Mark and Sandy because the pictures do not do the bow justice[time i bought myself a new camera]She is 58"s long 55#s at 28"s. She smokes an arrow, hits hard , very quiet and is a hoot to shoot. Thanks to Mark and Sandy Horne!

Those Brush Bows are shooters.

Very Nice my friend..
Nice shooting, and a beautiful bow...
-
Yes they are shooters Dave. You were lucky enough to have "Faith" [I beleieve] for a few weeks.I would sure like to try one with Boo cores one day. Thank you Mitch I'll have to bring it with me when I come out to MINNYSODA so you can check it out.

That's one nice bow! Pretty good shootin' too. You must have nice neighbors to not mind you shooting towards their garage! LOL! I'm having a hard time getting to shoot lately with so many people in the boatyard getting boatwork done. I can usually shoot early AM, when I get home from work, but they are here early now too. No one's ever said anything because I am very discrete. Wish I had a range or club close.
Congrats on a fine bow. :clapper:

the heck with the brush bow; what kind of bow were you shooting when you left the brushbow leaning on the target? THATS gutsy shooting :bigsmyl:
The target with the garage in the background is not for the faint of heart- but the way your shooting - heck what's the worry :biglaugh:
Nice bow!
-
LOL! Aim small miss small boys.Heck I have that big maple tree to back me up.
-
Nice shooting! I'm waiting for a brush bow from Mark as well. I had "Hope" for a week and shot her off and on throughout the year as well (she kept showing up at the same places I was - or I kept following her!)
Very nice looking bow!
-
What woods did you order Jeremy? This is my second brushbow .
-
Hey Tom,
Good looking bow and nice shooting! We have to get together and do some shooting soon. I'll bring my Hornes TD Mountain bow.
-
Sure thing Larry you and the little guy are welcome to try this baby out anytime! When do you want to hit Pequest Valley Archery? I'm wanting to put one of Scotts strings on this baby.
-
Tom,
How about next weekend. We will be up in New England this weekend. Going to be bringing our bows too. Hope that you have a good fathers day!
Give me a call so we can set up a time to go. I'll pick up a new string for me bows too.

Tom, it'll have maple cores, figured goncalo alves veneers (Mark says it's almost musical-grade figure) purpleheart riser with goncalo alves palm swell and the bow bolt td system. I can't wait!!

Sounds good Larry. You have a great dads day too give me a shout when you get back. Jeremy sounds like a beauty can't wait to see some pictures of it. Goncalo Alves is great a real natural looking camo.
