Title: international payments
Post by: will123 on February 14, 2011, 01:48:00 PM
After a long time I finally found a Black Widow in my draweight in the classifieds.
The problem is the seller has no Pay Pal and his bank will not receive international payments.
I checked out Western Union but I don`t think it`s very safe.
Maybe you guys have any experiece in dealing with this problem?

This is happened to me many times, old people are afraid or can't use Paypal. The one that will can easily set for Paypal otherwise you can ask if they know someone that can take Paypal.Maybe a dealer friend of them that has access to the VISA card system.I think that if there is a will there must be a system.

Western Union is fine. These days, there is no actual piece of paper travelling around the world. You simply pay your money at the Western Union place (at the post office, here), and they give you a magic code. You e-mail the code to the receiver, and they collect their money at their nearest branch. I've used it twice, I think, for bows. It is fine.

I have found that International money orders drawn on the post office work very well. Only bit of advice is that you go to your local post office to cash it in, rather than to your bank. Many banks want you to wait until the m/o clears, while the post office recognizes it immediately.

I just tried to get an International Post Office money order for Australia, and was told I could not.

Post offices is Australia do not do International Money orders any more. The only option for that is to go to the bank and get an international bank draft but it will cost you about $30 on top in fees.
Paypal is the best bet.
