A few young friends wanted to come over and shoot so I said ok but we've got to move some snow.
They did a great job clearing away enough that we could launch a few arrows down range.
I think we lasted about 4 hours...lol

It's always great to see young people having fun with bows and arrows. Looks like you guys had a very enjoyable day. Good job.
Nice! it looks like you guys had a great time. I wish I could shoot out side, I'm sick of shooting in the garage  We still have about three feet of snow on the ground and I'm sick of moving it! I can't wait for spring this year. This has been the worst year in along time as far as cabin fever goes. Please keep posting pics of the outside shooting. Thanks for sharing Roy.
Glen
I hope Coaster finds these and adds them to the slide show.
The young man was impressed that I could get that arrow threw the ring in his ear.
I told him not to worry, "Just hold real steady!"...lol

Thank God you fellars weren't flinging broadheads today! Just kiddin! Glad to see you're our goodwill ambassador Roy!
I also went out and shot both of my recurves today. I hadn't shot them for two weeks since it's been so cold in Texas. Today warmed up to 69 degrees.
Bet ya'll had alot of fun, Always great to see the youngsters getting involved in the sport.
awesome!!! you may never know what an impact you may make. great stuff!
Mudd you are the man, good on for getting those boys out and about !!!!!!!!!!! Looks like a lot of shoveling too!
Oh, my soul! Somebody shot that poor kid in the ear lobe and he doesn't even seem to notice! :scared:
Good job gettin' them outside, Mudd! The shoveling was worth it for sure!
My neighbors think I'm obsessed when they see me shoveling a path to my target. At least all you TG toxophilites understand! :p

Was in the mid 40s yesterday, shot about three rounds at the neighbors 3D range! Our snow is down to about 6 inches on the ground and after this week it should be almost gone! BUT it is only Feb, I will enjoy the warmup while it lasts!
Thx for sharin! Looks like a fun way to spend the afternoon...
I've been shooting in the house, 16yds from the living room to the kitchen stove. Snow is so hard outside you can't walk on it without breakin your posterior.
Good job Mudd. Thanks for the pics.
Bro Mudd that is way to much fun right there. :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Great pics!1 I too got to shoot outside this weekend. Hope it's an early spring. This being my first year trad shooting I can't wait til I can shoot outside everyday.
That's cool.
Mudd, Good on you for helping out those boys. Looks like fun and I'm sure it kept them out of trouble.
Neat stuff. Good job.
That's pretty good shooting . . . but now it's my turn. ;)

Bummer the William Tell shot didn't work out. :D
Roy, glad you all were able to get outside and do some shooting! Good to see someone taking time to get the neighborhood kids involved. :clapper:
Short-sleeve shirts and snow in the same pics, especially for 4 hours just ain't right, but everybody is sure 'Stylin' in their cool hats! Lol!
Good on you Roy for hosting the lads to some arrow flingin'.
I'm going to do my first shootin' in about 2 months tomorrow. Can't wait!
Looking good. Glad you were all able to get out and enjoy. Love the pierced lobe. I was going to make a comment on range safety, but as long as it was just some trick shooting, its all good. :bigsmyl:
Awesome Mudd, it is really nice here in Central AR, we got to like 70 degrees today, versus 7.5 inches of snow last week! : )
Thanks Mudd: Looks like you all had a lot of fun. I sure hope that boy doesn't have any more piercings, those arrows can hurt.
Those hats just have me rolling! Must be a prereq for shooting at your house Mudd.....haha
