Just spoke with Mike Rash over at Legends Bows and ordered my 10yrd old son a Spike Recurve!
Amazing he gets a custom bow before his dad ever did.
Mike was a gentlemen to speak with and seemed very passionate in getting our youth into traditional shooting.
I will be posting pics as soon as it gets in!!
Very cool! No doubt that your son will love it.
Can't wait to see the Pics..
Way to go!
Ur an awesome dad! :)

Ditto! Thats great!
I wish I could be there to see the look on his face when he gets his new bow. Post some pics when the new bow arrives. That's awesome.
I think I am more excited then he is! I believe it's time like these that we work all those extra hours for. I will post the pics as he is opening it!
When my son was 6, I bought him a timber hawk youth recurve. He shot the time out of that thing. Was one of the best things I ever done for him, because he's 12 now and still shoot's trad gear. He shoot's an old bear kodiak mag these day's. There's nothing better than spending time with him in the woods stumping, deer hunting and at the shoot's. Good times! I'm sure he'll love it! Jason
When my son was 10 or 11 i bought him a custom youth bow from Windstorm archery. Alot of arrows flew out of that bow. Now he's 23 and just bought himself a custom Dryad ILF Epic recurve. Swiper, I'm sure your son will love his bow and you'll be spending more time with him.
Awesome...ten year old little buddy! Lucky boy - lucky daddy.
I got in touch with Mike over at Maddog and ordered my son a Pup Recurve a few years back when he was 5, best thing I could've ever done... Thanks again Mike!
I'm in the same boat only its my 11yr old daughter. She has been shooting a recurve since 4 or 5, its time for a new bow.
What a grand way to both show and share your love of this wonderful art.
Swiper, Your sons "Spike" recurve will be headed to New Jersey in the morning.Cant wait to see him with it in some pic's.Thanks again.
Swiper,
