Title: Stumpn with my Old Tom
Post by: JCJ on February 13, 2011, 04:26:00 PM
With a couple feet of snow in the woods stumpn this Winter has been quite an aerobic workout. This weekend the cold broke and I took the camera along. As you will see in the photo's there is no shortage of deer in my neighborhood.
A well used deer trail makes for easier walking:

Deer love Buckthorn!:

Still a few nice ones around:

Anything better than stumpn with a longbow?

Horses Hoof Fungus make for great targets:

How can you go wrong with David Miller and Jack Bowers?:

And trails to be followed...

Yes brown glass. I recently acquired this bow. Have had lot's of different makers "Hill" style bows in the past. First by David Miller. It is a decent shooting bow.
