Title: Cascade Brush Hawk
Post by: Jesse Minish on February 10, 2011, 10:25:00 PM
Got my new Cascade Brush Hawk yesterday and am really liking it! I was very surprised about how quite it is. The bow is 56" 70#@28.5" with Phenolic riser and Yew limbs. My pictures do not do the bow justice!

Make sure when you shoot an animal that there not any others behind it for at least 20yds or you might have multiple animals down. That bow is going to have some power.

Good looking bow. Glad you can pull it back. If it shoots like mine, it should be lethal.

You can check out Steve's Brush Hawk bows at the Midwest Traditional and Primitive Archery Expo in Waterloo, Iowa, March 4-6. He'll even have a lefty there for try-out. They are lovely bows that hit where you look... I have one, and it's a lot of fun.

Yes it needs some company. My Brush Hawk with the Phenolic riser and Yew limbs matches my Night Hawk Mag.

Congratulations Jesse!  I know you've been anxious for that pretty little bow for quite a while, and glad you got it.

I love phenolic, and that's a nice one!

Great looking bow!!  I didn't see any info about it on their website; what's the price range of the Brush Hawks?

Thanks Lon!

Kenneth, Steve is working on getting it on the web site. The Brush Hawk starts out around $500 though.

I'm having fun shooting this Brush Hawk. Spring bear and turkey are in trouble.

I hope that you are able to get that nice black bear that you had on your trail camera last year. You should be able to shoot through two turkey's with one shot with the 70 pound Brush Hawk.

I drug mine around last week chasing hogs. Didn't get a shot but it sure was nice in the thick brush. Going back in a couple of weeks to try again.
This thing is so smooth I'm thinking about ordering a heavier one.
