A few pics of my new Crow Creek "Dalton" longbow. Elmer just re worked this bow a bit, has more of a "D" when strung shape then his previous models.
This one is 62", Bocote/Cocobola riser, Bamboo core, Burl Myrtle limbs from our own Idaho Curt. Tips are black/red micarta with sheep horn on very outer layer.
VERY smooth drawing bow with no shock, no vibration, and dead silent even WITHOUT silencers.

That is one fine looking bow there, congrats and well done.
I love the veneers on the limbs. BTW, I used to live in Jasper, back in the mid-90s.
Nice looking bow.
Very nice! Cool veneers.
Eric.
Very Nice.
Sweet bow...congrats!
Beautiful bow!!
Thanks fellas, needing to find me some #50-#55 Cedars, everything I have right now is a tad stiff... but it still shoots them well.
Really looking forward to some time to shoot the bow more.
That is a Beauty! KY :archer:
Nice looking bow Matt!!! Do you prefer it over your Blackfeather ???
Winterhawk1960
 That's a good looking bow!!
You are going to like it. Love mine.
Don, its a completely different animal then the Black Feather. Kind of like comparing an F-250 to a Mustang.
I would say its smoother, quieter, less vibration etc. Its not as fast, and it is more spine picky as its not near center cut.
For me it points better, I really like the more traditional longbow grip of the Dalton.
Its just a very "natural" pointing bow that feels "right".
elmer makes a nice bow,i have one of his older one piece recurves,im a longbow guy but shoot this curve quite a bit !
I also wanted to ad that the Myrtle limb veneers are darker and more "brown/gold" then they appear in the photos.
May also try some Arrow Dynamics "trad lite" shafts. My Carbon Express 150s are too stuff for sure.
Going to make up some woods as soon as I can find some #50 spine to buy.
I shot CE 150's out of mine. They were 29.5" and had 175 up front. Might give that a try.
Pac, i tried 150's cut to 29.5 with 200 up front, but showed a bit stiff for me.
I really think i may just dedicate to shooting woods in this bow anyway.... just seems right!
Great Bow, Congrats. Wish I could have at least one of each. But to many awesome bows that have been and are being built by Great Bowyers.
yeah there are ALOT of real solid bows being made. Got the 150's shooting real good out of this bow, showing a tad stiff bareshafting but managable.
Its one of those bows that is a joy to shoot, just makes you smile. Workmanship is as good as it gets.
Well, since its apparently named after me, you can go ahead and send it too me now! :bigsmyl: Jk, beautiful bow man!
