Title: Just ordered my first custom bow.

After a lot of research on this site I decided to go ahead and order a Mohawk! I looked at a lot of different bows and for the money it seems like you just can't find a better deal. I ordered a 62" 1 piece Longbow model, 52# @ 28" with the locator handle. I went with Red Elm limbs & veneers with a cocobolo handle.

Man I can't wait to get it!

Great choice.  Vince makes a great bow at an unbeatable price.  Ken

I love red elm veneers. Depending on the cut you ordered they make great natural camo with the broad grain patterns.

Vince makes at great bow at a very reasonable price.  Besides that, you won't meet a nicer guy.  I got one a while back on a trade here on TG and contacted him for info.  He was very helpful with all my questions.  I'm sure you will enjoy your new bow!!!!!

Mohawks are great shooters, I shoot mine often. Good choice   :thumbsup:

Just spent last Friday thru Sunday shooting Rob DiStefano's Mohawk.

Likely the most enjoyable pure shooting experience that I can recall.

That is a good wood combination.  Cocobolo will give it some stability too....
