I have a 7 year old that's wanting a new bow for 3D season.I'm having a hard time finding a good bow without a real high price and he's also a lefty so I need some input please. Thanks
I got my son a black rhino bow. They are pretty reasonable and well built.
Hi Dan, my son is also seven, been shooting since three. He has shown strong left eye dominance and we changed him to lefty this year. PRIMO!!! he's an ace! I got him a lefty Internature and fancied it up with snakeskins. Great bow, takedown, wood laminated riser, great price. Great tree is very good also. If you go custom I hear MADDOG makes a good one, don't know about price though. Check them out. Great little bows. I'm sure you'll get PLENTY of help with ideas for this one.
Mike at Maddag archery all the way. My sons just their PUP longbow from Vermonster and it is pretty darn sweet.
X3 for Maddog-and I have two bow sets in the giveaway section on the main page as well.
Maddog is a sponsor here and while I have not seen any of his work he certainly comes highly recommended by many people...so I would also suggest looking into his stuff.
If however, you are interested in a used Great Plains youth bow that is LITERALLY LIKE NEW, let me know. I have a lefty here that we will be selling in the near future.
Could you guys post some pics of your Maddog youth bows?
I added the silencers and finger grips.Top quality bow made right and perfect for any kid by Mike @ Maddog.

Check Black Rhino, my kid's loved them. Also heard nothing but great things about Maddog.
3-Rivers has GreatTree youth bows. Most are under $100. They are great little bows. Bill
Black Rhino bows are hard to beat
St. Joe River makes an awesome youth bow, and they even have a trade up program. I just got my son one at Kalamazoo, and he loves it.
