Does anyone know if the Martin Dream catcher is tillered for 3 under? Does it matter?
It's probably tillered for split finger but it doesn't matter.
I sure don't ever remember seeing anything in an advertisement for any traditional bows that claimed they were for a specific shooting style other than a left hand model or right hand model?
I just can't imagine that it would make any difference?
Although I could be wrong on that, but I had never even heard of it till about a week ago right here on TG. So that proves that I don't know everything, and just when you thought it couldn't get any more simple than a stick and a string......something like this comes along.
Maybe somebody else who knows more on the subject will chime in here and enlighten us both?
Split finger. Or neither. The tillering is likely done at a pull-point directly below the grip pivot point with an attachment that is probably one finger-width in size.
I don't know that it matters much. I know folks shooting Mediterranian style (split finger) whose nock points are as different from one another as the width of my index finger.
Thanks Guys.
PS - Great bow. I bought mine new in 1996 and it's my go-to whitetail hunting bow. Quiet, attractive and potent with 600 gr arrows.
Dreamcatcher was my first recurve when getting into trad... shot it 3 under.
What "stumpkiller" said!
Good luck.
Love the bow. Quiet and smooth shooter. Just went to 3 under this year.
