Obviously, this is a great place to talk to like minded individuals. But who would you like to meet in person? Maybe you will get the chance! I'd love a chance to hang out with Biggie Hoffman, Ray Hammond (again but for a longer time) Terry Green, Guru (curt..a fellow union laborer) Whip, Leatherneck, longbowben, SteveO(again..but for a longer time) Charlie lamb, Pete P,(A modest whitetail hunter), Ryan Rothhaar,(again but for longer) Marty McHAHON, Gary Lodgson, RC, JC, Corry Matteson, Rob Burnham (again but for a longer time), peter c iacavazzi , Chimaster, Thomas Burns (again but for a longer time)and Katie. I'm positive there are plenty more. What about you guys?
That would be a long list buddy. :bigsmyl: i would have to add you to that list as well.
You are right Ferret. Maybe that is a dumb question. Everyone on here would probably like to meet in person. Hopefully it will happen for everyone someday!
Long list indeed! :readit:
Last summer I had the pleasure of meeting bonebuster and his family at comptom which was a result of this site my children and I could not have wished for a better family to spend the day with.
That's great thump!
I woujd have to say the members list. Every member I have met so far has been a great person to know.

Got to meet Mike Yancy last year and went to visit him at home when I was close by...
Ken
Anyone that I have met on here including Ragnarok Forge has been a first class gentleman. Always looking forward to meeting more either in person or on the 'net. What a great community.
I'd like to spend some time with Ron LaClair, the man has to be full of interesting stories and information. I love his posts..
Would love to meet Bill Carlsen some day.Bet Bill has some great experiences to share. And anyone that shoots state records like the one in his avatar in New Hampshire of all places with a bow is true hunter to me.
Also George Tsoukalas..this guy knows his way around the primitive campfire.Could really show me a thing or two!
Also Orion..Very knowledgeable and old school...would love to listen to his stories. His posts are always no nonsense straight forward.
Let's not forget Ryan Rothaar too. What more needs to be said.
Would love to meet that John Simoneau guy too. This way he can get me in a spot where I could shoot a legendary crazy double droptine buck(I love droptines...even though I'll never see one in VT lol). And test out some of those Habus.
One day I'll meet Statedriller...he could set me up in a stand too.
Wihill...he's Chris what else needs to be said lol.
Dmaxshawn...def wanna go on a hog hunt with big Shawn for sure.
gjarcher...super knowlegeable guy.
All I can think of at the moment.
I would love to meet all of you. Every time that I had the chance to meet a Tradganger I was glad I did.
Hope to meet some more of you at the Midwest Tad Expo. I will be the short blonde. Well, might not still be blonde next month:)
There are about 29,000 members left for me to meet. Working on it as I can. :)
I'm with Katie, everyone on this site would be great to meet...
Jon I will see you this spring for that Ill. Turkey hunt... You need to make the Pig Gig next year.
Most people that I have already met have been very friendly and helpful, as I try to be. There will always be somebody that you might not click with but that's normal. I could not begin to make a list, but hope to meet guys I have dealt with on the classifieds or whom I have had good chats with back and forth via PM'S. Not sure but I my have an Elk hunt this fall with a couple of members...it's in the works!
i would like to meet and hunt with some of the founders of this site and admin. terry green, guru, denny sturgis jr. the wensel bros. charlie lamb. ron laclair. the list goes on but i think y'all know. i know i dont carry a whole lot of clout here and im not the avid hunter these people are but what they do is something to admire and aspire to.i also know its not entirely possible , but maybe someday. ruddy
I have meet quit a few from this site, and only positive thoughts come to mind when I think back. If time would only allow, I would like to share came with every one of you.
Thanks, I would love to meet everyone from the gang. And i would love to hunt with you some day. We are going to the GORH next weekend and going to meet some new friends. :campfire:
Maybe each state should have a Tradgang shoot. It would be a great opportunity to meet fellow Tradgang members. And great fellowship to boot with fellow trad shooters.
well looks like some of my list is going to happen in september this year. would like to meet more but hey the USA is a Big place and i only got 4 weeks :campfire:
The one's I've met either on line or in person are quality like minded individuals. This site has been a wealth of information and pleasure for me......
I have to echo some of the other guys. My list would be long. I'm always up for new friends and new places. I enjoy the company of people who see things from a similar light as I do. So anybody in the gang one be great to hunt and shoot with.
I had the pleasure of meeting and hunting with Onions and luvthehunt last summmer. If they are representative of the rest of the folks on here than any and all would be a pleasure to hunt with. I'm a long ways from other tradgangers but would love the chance to meet and hunt with some more.

You once told me that airplanes were out of the question. The power of the bow has convinced you to fly again! There will be a place at my fire if you would join me.

x2!!! Jon, you are definetely near the top.
Im very fortunate to have hunted with close to 150 TGers in big and small game campsand Ill tell you theyve been top notch for the most part. Many I see only occasionally and they are like old friends.Of all I can only think of 1 which I had a bad experience with and I am sure it will not happen again. :archer2:
A REGIONAL TRAD GANG EXPO in each part of the States would be great. Sponsoring vendors, seminars....that would be fun getting to meet guys from your neck of the woods, and beyond. Everybody has to wear their tradgang name.
I have met so many TG'rs all over and every one of them has been great.
At the risk of excluding anyone (please no offense) but to meet my friend Felix would be fantastic!
There are a couple fine fellows on this site who have done background checks on all admitted lefties. So, whenever I'm about to trade, sell, or buy I check with these guys for character references. LOL
I've found there are seem to be only 1-2 lefty bows by each manufacturor, we just pass em around for a few years among us and then back to the original owner.
P.S. They'd do BCs on the righties but you'ns are such a hoard, who has the time? Again, LOL.
Well, the gentleman who started this thread, for one. Always been a big fan. Terry Green, since I don't think I could ever send enough emails to get my thanks across. Aaaaand, if I ever met Charlie Lamb, I'd probably consider my bowhunting career to be as good as it'd get.
That said, I've had the pleasure to meet a lot of TG'ers over the years. Both famous and infamous, and everywhere in between. The good thing is, I've yet to meet one I didn't really care for...
To many to name, but if I had to "Biggie Hoffman" would be at the top of the list. Something about those big guys who shoot straight, and I'm not just talking about the bow and arrow. :campfire:
Dang, Izzy, and you never let on. What a gentleman. I wish I knew what it was that I did or didn't do...
Killdeer :dunno:
Sure would like to meet that last poster again...that's definately on the to-do list...
:saywhat:
Anyone cept that Zradix guy.
What a Kook
I went on two Bear Quest hunts with about 15 Tradgang members and another with about 10 25 of the greatest guys you could meet and plan on meeting some more this June.I also plan making other hunts with members and of course know a lot of La. members here.Kip

Who?? It's easier for me to think about anyone I would not like to meet. That's a short list for sure...is has no inclusions.
IMO, every living soul that haunts this place has something good to share with us all. If it were humanly possible, I would meet each and every one of you. You have all, in some way and many ways, made my life more colorful.
:archer2:
I think I would like to sit at a camp fire and listen to Ron La Clair and Charlie Lamb tell stories of their past adventures.
Heck, All of ya'll! Let's have a get together, and have shirts made up so we'll know who you are! Jason
I wish that I could be a fly on the wall in a lot of different camps. There have been a lot of names listed here who would have me stone silent and rapt as I listened to their stories.
Even the true ones!
:campfire:
Any list will leave somebody out, and therein lies the rub. This is a huge family, thank goodness, and there are so many of us that we can't help but bump into one another here and there. Savor it, learn from it, and in the middle of the workday, for no good reason, grin.
Killdeer :goldtooth:
"Heck, All of ya'll! Let's have a get together, and have shirts made up so we'll know who you are! [thumbsup] Jason"
"If I weren't afraid you'd laugh at me
I would run and take all your hands
And I'd gather everyone together for a day
And when we gather'd
I'll pass buttons out that say
Beautiful people
Then you'd never have to be alone
'Cause there'll always be someone
With the same button on as you"
~Melanie
Jason... you old hippie!
Killdeer
well are ya able to make sc killie do i get to be in the company of Greatness? :notworthy: :notworthy:

I'm all for a Virginia meetup. That would be kewl. Maybe this spring....
Very well put, Killie - and I've even seen her sit "stone silent and rapt" on occasion (of course I figured she was either asleep, or "stoned" - but then, whadda I know - ;) ) We all love you anyway, Lady.
well said uncle Bernie :clapper:
huhwha??
LOL - :goldtooth:
Killdeer - I have always admired her posts, would love to meet her in person. A lot of great people on TradGang, many of them I have had the pleasure to meet. Killy is one of the people I would love to set around the campfire with, and tell a lie (story) or two with.
if ya come to sc in sept your wish might come true as i am trying to get her to come to a TGMM hunt.
No pressure here... :saywhat:
I tell you what, between PBS, Compton, Kalamazoo and just reaching out to others here, I have met a lot of TG folks. Every meeting has been a positive one. Good folks.
Wish we could get you up to Manitoba Jon!
I would like to meet everyone.
Killdeer, you ARE that highly respected...you are indeed way up on the list!
I've had the "distinct" pleasure to meet and even shoot with several members from Trad Gang thanks to Comptons and ATAR. I have yet to find one that I didn't have admiration for.
When people are truly cut from the same piece of cloth..........they can't help but look good when in each others company and here's my proof.

I'd gladly give up a hunting season to have a conversation with Billy Shipp from Texas.
Great pictures! I've been lucky enough to have met most of the people in those, plus a whole bunch more at other hunts, shoots, and gatherings. The hard part is figuring out which faces, TG handles, and given names go together.
I hope too be even more confused in the future as I work on meeting the other 29,000+ that remain. Name tags would be a great idea!
Give up a hunting season??
Heresy!! :scared:
Dangit Whip !!!!! I was hopin' you could help me put a name or two with the faces. :readit: Heck, we all even had fancy nametags on too.
Winterhawk1960
Every member of the family.
I wouldn't mind meeting up with that little round guy whos always beating the tar out of his horse.
He's dumb, and is good at it just like me.
:deadhorse:
Yeah, thats the guy.
I would like to meet myself about 5 years ago. Then I could give myself advice in advance to avoid some REALLY stupid hunting mistakes. I could also keep a few posts I've made on here in my head instead of expressing those opinions.
Hindsight is 20/20. :readit:
Seriously... I would like to meet Terry, Rob, Killdeer, longbowben, leatherneck, whip, Vermonster, Larry S, Molson, Skyler, George Stout and a pile of others I am forgetting at the moment.
Those who know Billy know why.

(asleep, or "stoned") Bernie you are priceless.
oh, that gave me one of those grins we're supposed to grin...you know, in the middle of the day for no good reason. I love this place!
And to think I missed 7 years of this... :D
I'd like to meet Ben Kleinig and the other Aussie members and hear them tell about hunting feral camels, donkeys, goats and hogs in The Land Down Under.
If they'll talk to me them I'm all for meeting them.
The list wouldn't leave any name out if I could make it happen.
God bless,Mudd
I would like to meet everyone this is truly and awesome place.
Buckeye hunter Are you coming to the GORH if so leatherneck and myself will be there to share a beer with and some funny stories. :campfire:
I'd like to me that Raging Water dude! He seems really cool.
Wears a skirt, too!
Matt

Good one
everyone! I've met a few and I haven't been disappointed yet. :notworthy:
If I could only pick one..... that'd be hard but Charlie Lamb, I'd love to sit and talk hunting with him or chase some critters.
Jeff B, Terry, Kentucky TJ Just to start out

You could make a lot of money selling a video of that one! :coffee:
I think it would be great to meet anyone on this site just a bunch of good people here!
I didn't actually meet them but I have been in the presence of Mr.LaClair and the Wensel twins. That was back when the Michigan Bowhunter's Rendezvous was held near my hometown. But I would love to actually meet them in person. Another one would be MUDD. He is a great person to deal with and he has great taste in the way of dogs! But like it has been said already, I would like to meet everyone here. I will be meeting a bunch of the Michigan types in about 6-7 days. Which is going to be a great time I am sure. Mike
Would like to meet a #5 Foot Tub full of ya'll !! :wavey:
Froggy, that just might be a pile or two. Seriously, there are just too many that I would like to meet. But to pick just a couple..... Mudd, the Wenzels, Killie, and Mr. LaClair would be on my short list.
BOB
Any one in here but to start I would go with Ken Taylor.
Well here are a few TG'ers I've had the pleasure of sharing camp with over the years... Great folks!

I'd like to have the opportunity to meet you all.
Would love to share a camp with everyone, but I would like to meet and talk to Arwin, Steve Grice and Tim Fishell.
I agree with most above....I have met several guys in different places and have not been disappointed. It is neat to put the faces with the scren names. I got to meet all the guys at Solana in Dec.2010 and all seemed to be great guys. Terry and Curt ended up leaving to track Curts pig and did not get back before I had to leave. I hope to catch up with you guys next time we meet. I try to discover if any of the guys I meet at shoots and hunts are tradgangers and it is always cool to be able to put the face with the name.
Bisch
I only want to meet the ones that can't hold back a smile when they pick up their favaorite bow. Maybe the ones that slide their hand over those sweet limbs are okay too.
