Last year, I took him to his first 3D shoot - with some "wheelie bow" friends (yeah... we're workin' on them!)...

That bow is getting shorter every year! ;) I'm happy to say, the longbow is his preference... not just his Dad's! I think 2011 will be the year for him to get a new bow! 10th birthday coming up in a few months! Thanks for letting me take the opportunity to brag on my boy! :D
Oh man thats priceless, sounds like a black rhino or maddog longbow 23-30# is in store for this little guy.
That is awsome
Gene,
Very cool indeed! A dad and his lil' buddy.
He looks like he is a natural - better groups than me. My little boy is only 18 months old but I am already planning his first longbow.
That is great.
Excellent!!!
Very cool! Way to start him the right way! My boy started shooting a recurve when he was six. He is twelve now and still shoot's a recurve. He shoot's an old bear kodiak mag, and wouldnt' have it any other way. Great pics!! Jason
Very cool!! When you start them out early they seem to stay with it forever. Great pictures and congrats!
Very cool indeed! Love to see this kind of thing
Awesome!!
Great that your boy loves to shoot with you. Thanks for the awesome pics. Please keep us updated on his new bow when he gets it. Good shooting Don
Good to see young ones doing outside activities instead of computer games and tv.
Its great to see kids grow in height as well as skill,if only the bow would grow along with them.Great on you for lighting that fire inside him.I have two that have the fire inside them also. It does make you proud.
That is awesome, it is great when you get a kid involved and they end up becoming as addicted as you are. Keep it up and have fun!
Awesome!
You have every right to be proud, and so does he.
Congratulations to you both. Both of you are lucky.
Way to go!Great shootin'!
What a great way for a father and son to spend time together. My 7 year old sons Black Rhino will be here next week. I don't know who is more excited, me or him!
All my boys shot from early on, and I'm thankful to say still shoot with me when they can. All have kids of thier own now so I'm working on grandkids. Never to busy to listen to a man brag on his child good job and enjoy. He'll love that new bow.
You're blessed to have him take an interest in an outdoor sport.
