Last weekend i took my dad and youngest son down to Gettysberg it is truely an amazing place with all it's history,my son loves the civil war he came home with a confederate cap.Sunday morning i made a trip over to meet with MR Leon Stewart had a great visit,he was very informative and pointed me in the right direction for this is all new to me(wish i could have stayed longer)I ordered a 60" slammer special long bow 45#@28".It was well worth the trip on both fronts now just the wait.
He makes some fine looking bows. Never shot one. Hap
Great to have you down in the area. Leon is a great guy that makes a great bow. If you are like others, you will enjoy shooting one.

Gettysburg is a truly amazing site to visit. Being only 30 miles away or so i have been there numerous times. It is great that you shared that hallowed ground with your dad and youngest son.
I have also visited Gettysburg and I was truely impressed! Welcome to the Tradgang site!! :wavey:
Gettysburg and Bows... What a trip.. Glad You had a Great time with Your Dad & Son...
You should try and make it to Gettysburg the weekend of The 4th of July. They reenact the Battle.
I made that same trip about 10 years ago.My wife now and I took 4 days but I picked up a bow I had ordered earlier from Leon.
Gettysburg was really interesting but kind of a weird feeling which I can't describe. We where there the week-end before the re-enactment.
Im through there 3-4 times a week on my Route, Still love it !! Good luck on the New Bow !!
