Robert, got his first real bow today and is well on his way to carrying on our sport. He always tells me, "Good shoot Papa!" Well, I say, "Good shoot back to ya little buddy!"

I am enjoying the same thing now with my Grandsons. Where did you get that bow and what is the poundage? Post that info. up because some of us may like to pick one of those up also. Nothing better than seeing the younguns take to Traditional Archery.

Thanks everyone. He really did enjoy himself today. For those wanting to know, the bow is a Black Rhino M-48 Light. 48", 15# @ 22". He'll grow into it some before we need to upgrade.
Awesome! How old is your son? I can't wait for my nephew to be of age.
Fun fun fun!
Jeff, he just turned 4 on the the 4th of Jan.
My son has been shooting with me since he was a little fella. Love and enjoy every minute of it, they grow up fast! Great pics BTW! Jason

TW you have every right to stand up and crow!!
Great pictures! Thank you for sharing with us.

Well my Nephew is 4. I have had him shooting this little bow i got a the local shop. Its made by cartel, open sight with cams so he can pull it. It shoots these little arrows that can really get some distance. Doesnt shoot too straight though. I'm gonna look into that bow.
Love the pics, especially the one in flight! Can't wait for my oldest girl to graduate from rubber suction cups and fiberglass!
Excellent!
Those pictures take me back several years to when each of my sons got their first bow.
That is GREAT, TW! What's his name? Good bow choice, too.
Rick, my sons name is Robert. TV's got "Bob the Builder" well, I got "Rob the Wrecker"! That boy sure can destroy a bedroom with all the junk he has! :biglaugh:
Fantastic pics! Looks as if he's taken right to it.
T.W.: Robert looks to be a natural, I enjoyed the pics. He will grow up fast, enjoy him. Especially when he can shoot better than you in a few years. Awesome keep at it. God Bless Don
Very cool.
Good job TW getting the boy in on the action! When my 4 kids are flinging arrows, I always think of the arrow barrage on Braveheart...
Kenny, I know what you mean. When that boy is shooting, it's good to be a fair distance behind him. :jumper:
great pics you are blessed my friend
Lucky Dad....lucky son!

TW,
Happy Daddy! You are a lucky man...
Your son is a lucky boy. I can remember those days with my son Andy. Happy times together. He is 30 years old and still reminds me of those early years we shot together.
Again, awesome. Nothing like spending time with ones pride and joy.
Cool beyond description!
I gotta say, I'm right there with ya. I got my son a Maddog Pup Recurve and he there's nothing he'd rather do than get out and loose some arrows. So for once I can honestly say... I know how you feel.
Hello TW, Great to see you handing down the tradition!!!! Tell your little buddy to keep up the good work. I bet you won't have to ask him twice to practice with you....I had a couple of misses with the Kodiak Hunter, will have to wait till next year to draw blood....Good Luck to both of you..Bobby
Awsome pics!! There sure looks to be alot of fun in the future!! I really enjoy shooting with my youngens.
God Bless,
Nathan
Good stuff!
Thats awesome....love to see the kids shooting. Let him shoot and have fun. Work on form when he is older.
That's what it's all about right there! It is a wise man who invests his time in his family.
Nice pics and good memories. Looking forward to doing the same with my son in the near future.
