The Traditional Bowhunters expo at Kalamazoo was very successful, as the crowds were large and the vendors were busy. I have enclosed some candid shots from the event and hope that the success translate to more success at the upcoming Midwest Traditional and Primitive Archery Expo in Waterloo, Iowa, March 4-6.

Is the Waterloo event still on?
Thanks for the pics!
Tom, there was mention that more vendors signed up this past weekend for the show in Waterloo. Do you have an undated list of vendors? I am trying to decide if I want to make the drive from Michigan for this show.
Thanks,
Tim
I'm feeling kinda left out here, Tom! LOL
We're looking forward to the Expo in Waterloo. See you soon. Chad
Waterloo event is picking up steam and is a definite "GO!"
Hope you can make it, as we've got Black Widow, Dwyer, St. Joe River, Holm-Made Bows, Pine Hollow Longbows, Lost Nation Archery, Tall Tines, Northern Mist, RER, Prairie Longbows, Cascade Archery, Footed Shaft, Comptons, Iowa Traditional Bowhunters, G&M, Winters Bow Shoppe, Tri-State Archery, Best Friends Longbows, Prairie Traditions (Bow Hospital) and several more signed up.

TradGangers, get the word out to your trad pals to come to this event and help make it a success.
In the Tall Tines pic does the bow on the right have camo limbs? If so, I sure would like to see some closeups if anyone has some...Mike
Hey, Chad! I wanted to save some of my "best shots" for the magazine, but here's one that you'll like (I hope).

I'm hoping my knee is good enough to make the drive. Bummed about missing K-Zoo.
Sorry I missed K-Zoo! It'll be Cloverdale and hopefully Compton for me. Thanks' for the pics guy's! Jason
It's important to support this event in it's inaugural year to insure that it will be around for years to come. It is in a good central location and I plan to support it and help it get off the ground. I encourage you to do so as well. Chad
Can't wait!

That is for sure Chad I know people drive allot of hours to get to Kalamazoo show I hope they do that for this one as well
I'm originally from Dubuque, IA. Still have family there. If they have it again next year I'll be there!!!
Rusty
If I can find 1 or 2 people to share the ride with I will be there. Sounds like a great time and looks like there will be a few vendors that we dont see here in Michigan.
Check out www.ramadawaterloo.com (http://www.ramadawaterloo.com) to see what the Convention Center is like. The Ramada is attached to the expo building via an enclosed walkover and has many amenities that could make post-expo activities a lot of fun, too.
Ill be their with the family. Cant wait
Tom will you have the updated list of vendors on your site soon.
David, I'll post them on here when I get home later today.
Tom, Do you have a block of rooms set aside? We tried to book for that weekend and they are full already.
I just figured out something good about living in Rockford, IL... it's halfway between Kalamazoo and Waterloo! Kalamazoo was my first ever trad 'event'. I'll be at Waterloo now, for sure!
Footed Shaft, Black Widow, Dwyer, Prairie Traditions, St. Joe River bows, Pine Hollow, Lost Nation, Best Friedn Longbows, G&M, Prairie Longbows, Tall Tines, Winter Bowshoppe, Compton, TradArchers' World, Tri-State (KME), Northern Mist, Hunters Image, Iowa Trad Bowhunters, Coon Rapids Club, Da Wool Lady, Colstad Enterprises, Cascade Archery and some more registrations in the mail. Come and enjoy.
Hi Jake! There is a block of rooms reserved at the Ramada Inn for Traditional and Primitive Archery Expo. I just called there and, at first they told me it was Primitive and Traditional Archery Expo, sometimes people get confused. Try it again and you should receive the group rate, too. Tom
Geez!!! I didn't list Chad Holm as a vendor.
Have a schedule for the speakers yet?
Hey, am I that easy to forget? Chad
Not at all Chad.We know you deserve your own post.
We will have three of our Brush Hawk longbows at the Waterloo show a 50 pound for left hand to try. Cascade Archery
I see that is only a 2 hr drive for me! I didn't read all the posts but is there a way to get the hours and when the guest speakers will be speaking! I am planning on making it a day trip!
Thanks!
Thanks for the pictures

Looks like a gret weekend...now I gotta wait until July for Denton Hill :( Looks like I'll just have to keep hog huintin' Doc
8 hr drive for me but going to try an make a buisness trip out of it, missed K Zoo so I need to get my fix.
Now that sounds like a great event. :readit: , break into my wife's piggy bank :wavey: .
Just booked our rooms.
How is the snow in that area. Do I have to rent a 4 wheel drive.
It's been a cold and snowy winter through much of the midwest. But they know what to do with it in Iowa, so unless there is a major storm that weekend there shouldn't be any problems.
Looking forward to the show and hoping to meet a bunch of Trad Gangers there!
We will have at least 20 bows plus 6 youth bows at this event also I wanted to remind everyone that we are dealer for Predator Camo now we will some of the basic products with us at the show. If there something specfic you want give us a call and pre order at least 10 day's out, and I will deliver at the event and you can save the shipping

Is there an entrance fee?
Adult fee is $5 (12 and up), kids are free.
Is the entrance fee good for the whole weekend or is there another rate for that (similar to Kalamazoo)?
TTT
What was the fee at K-zoo. I never asked what people were paying to walk through the door.
Kalamazoo is $6 for Friday night only or $10 for the weekend. I am trying to plan a trip out there and just curious if I have to pay each time I enter or just once on Friday for the weekend.
Washington Traditional Bowhunters will have a booth at Waterloo. Lon Scott will also have his collection of Bear bows at the booth many will be for sale. Some takedowns in the box new from the 60's. Short Bear risers.
Hi Tim,
I can make the fee $5 for one day and $10 for the weekend. Hadn't thought about it before. I'll include that option on the ads from now on.
