well i am out shooting in the yard trying out my arrows that i will bring with me in sept and this happens now i have to cut that arrow short :dunno: (http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh305/jeffburg/002.jpg) (http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh305/jeffburg/003.jpg)
Now that's good shooting
no just a fluke
pink is for men, great shooting!
Everybody seems to like them things, but I don't like tearing up my arrow's! :D Jason
Worth it ;)
Nice tight group. Look out animals! :scared:
hey Bro it was shot at 18yards close :goldtooth:
Nice shooting Jeff :readit:
I wish my 18 yard group looked like that! Nice shooting. Robinhoods are cool the first few times it happens. After that, not so much anymore.
Ill say nice grouping, I mean look at the main area shot out of the target.
Well Jeff you done good brother!
I might make a suggestion.
Maybe you should give consideration to using the other dots on that target...like one arrow per dot....lol
Good shooting buddy!
God bless,Mudd
Thats a good kinda ouch...I like how the nock is split perfectly. The ones I've done, very few, the nock blows off...cool.
Eric.
wow wish I had that problem!
Nice grouping and I feel your pain on the robin hood.
My 18 yard grouping is....... You might say, not quite so tight.
Looking forward to some hunting results from that practice :)
Eric the arrows are 2016 legacy with nock inserts and when ya hit the nock it drives down the middle and buggers the insert as well as the nock and shaft but i was able to rescue it even though i cut an inch off it. but will have to stick a nock in the end. hey Bro Mudd i shoot one dot at a time so when i have shot that side out i will move to the next side and do it all over again good fun :biglaugh: but with out the robbin hood well looky looky here another New Zealander. Dogboy90 welcome Bro glad to see i aint the only one on here
Nice group, my friend! :jumper:
thanks Buddy :dunno:
Hey Jeff i am mostly a lurker here.
Hunted rabbits with a recurve when I was a teenager then got lured over to the dark side for a good few years, now I am really loving shooting recurves again but need to get my skill back up before I start taking any game with one. That and need to get out hunting more!
I always look out for your posts, nice to see other NZ'ers on here :)
i have a lot of shooting to do before i go to the USA this year thats for sure at least i got 25 yards down in to the garage i just sit the Block on a chair and shoot missed a few times and went into the garage wall But hey thats another story. :o
Nock inserts?
You cut the swaged end of a Legacy off and use push-m-in nocks?
Takes all kinds, I guess. How many cut-backs before you get them to your draw length? :smileystooges:
Killdeer :wavey:
yup just cut the Bugger off and put on a nock and it takes sometimes about 2 or 3 cut-backs. :campfire:
Yeah i have had it happen It's great when its your arrow and not your buddy shootin for your nocks.
wall hanger Jeff.
cool picture good shot n too
Hate it when that happens and it will when you shoot multiple arrows at the same spot.
Yea, I hate it too but it is cool....
Jeff, are ya gonna have some time to "visit around" when ya get here?
I had the same thing happen today, I hate when that happens too.
Good shootin' there!
Well done Jeff! I like it. I feel good when I can just put 2 close enough for the feathers to touch. Can' wait to see the harvest pics!
Hey Huntschool will be in sc for about 4 weeks ye haaa 4 weeks of Hunting stump shooting a bit of sight seeing and Hog sticking :biglaugh: should be a tale or two. well far rider i will be passing through NC to go to SC drop me a pm
That's why I quit shooting two arrows at a time!HA!
i wish i had stopped at one
Good shooting and man ,what a nice crisp photo!Keep up the good work.
I don't know if I hate it or not as I have never done it. Might be cool to do it once just for a wall hanger, but too often would be too costly - or so they say...
Good shooting!
Perfect split on the nock. That is some fine shooting for 18 yards. Put those arrows on the wall!
18 yds...then animals look out at 18 yds.
That is sweet. No rh's for me yet... One day.
That is sweet. No rh's for me yet... One day.
Nice group Jeff, and yes it's kinda neat the first couple of times. After that it just costs more money and arrow building time. 3 shots per group and no more, shoot a different spot.
Check out that group! as well
nice shooting mate!
Good on yer, Jeff
(I learned to say that in NZ a few years back)
:banghead: :banghead:
you better not shoot that blunt i gave you into that group. you might wreck 3 or 4 arrows!
good luck in sept
Nice one, Jeff!
thanks my aussie Brothers. clint i shot it at a soda can today a full one WOW!!!!!!! Awesome mess cant wait to stick a tree rat with it :biglaugh:
First shootin' your arrows, and then a full soda can - you're getting pretty extravagant ain't cha, buddy? (Good shooting).
Way to go Jeff! You're ready. You gotta have a little special goodness hidden away somewhere about a robin hood no matter the cost. Go get um.
Jeff, that's why they make all those other dots on that target. You didn't read the instructions did ya?
Nice work and great shooting.
So sad!!!
Jeff: I haven;t killed a can of Soda yet. Just Beer. but I do have it mounted on the wall!!! Ha I love this site God Bless Don Keep up the good shooting.
 Robin Hood does exist, and all of his merry men also. I am sure of that because they seem to be on the site along with him. Well done Robin, :notworthy: I mean Jeff! :archer2:
Nice Jeff!
thanks everyone. i sure hope the hell i can get some 2016 trad legacy arrows when i come over man they are good arrows.
Yep....I like that nock split right down the middle, good on ya Jeff!
A group like that indicates more than a fluke. Good shooting.
Good SHootin. I try not to do that any have not had that problem yet.
Couldn't help but notice the wear on the target. Good shooting. May want to turn that target :)
sorefingers that's the only good side left to shoot at...lol
He's likely worn the other sides out already.
God bless,Mudd
Thats about the only disadvantage I can think of for being a good shot!!
no i aint Bro Mudd im doing what ya said to do one spot at a time ( even if it is on the same side) thats what ya said :biglaugh:
funny i just dont seem to have that problem :dunno:
Jeff, everybody is always saying to pick a spot. Looks like you did just that.
Now pick another spot.
