Hey guy have been to the LW site a few time in the past week or two and see where they have no stands to advertise or sell. What the latest on them?? I see the note on the site that say new line up at end of January, well it the end of January what the word? Anybody heard what's up?
I can't tell you what the current status is, but I do know they were in the process of moving production back to the US. That is good news, and hopefully won't be long now.
I sent them a e-mail back in Nov. and they told me then that were going to be moving their production back to the USA after the first of the year. Like Whip said they are probably just in the process of geting it all together..
Great stand regardless of where its produced. Worth the wait!!!
Well I e-mailed Lone Wolf and asked them what the current status was on their stands and if there would be anything new in their line up. below is their response.
"John we're trying to get the web-site updated but it may be a couple more weeks. John the biggest change is the built in bow holder area that is built into the cast platforms. The new castings will accommodate parallel limb bows. We are adding a new 14.5# climber to the line up using the assault casting. John there are no changes to the other climbers we have offered in the past. One change to the assault hang-on will be the seat casting. The assault hang-on will come standard with the alpha seat on it. No changes for the climbing sticks for 2011. Thank you.

I also like the ideal of using the assault casting for a climber it's all I use for a hang on anyway.

+1
I use three or four different hang on stands, but the assault is my pack in pack out stand. I am interested in seeing the new climber.
If there made in the U.S. that is one more reason to buy them, it is bad enough when you go to wallmart and see every thing made in china. I like to get away from that when I go to the woods.
I bought a Lone Wolf Sit in Climb about the end of October. It was the wide model. I noticed while climbing it made a popping noise. It was very slight but bothered me simply because my hunting partner's standard sit and climb did not do it.
I got on-line and got their phone number. The gentleman that I spoke with was super nice. I described my issue, and asked him if this was the norm. He was quick to respond that in a few of their first one's out the grommets didn't fit the hand climbers just perfect. It was not a safety issue, but annoying. He got my address and said I would have the new grommets in a day or two. I then tried to purchase a couple extra cinch straps. He wouldn't hear of it. He threw them in the box.
Great Product!!! Excellent Customer Service!!!
Needless to say this kind of treatment made me a fan.
14.5# climber, Finally. Can't wait to see it.
Free straps?? I've bought three of their stands, and they won't sell me a single male clip end (for the cinch straps). They told me I was welcome to buy a set of straps.
ALL I NEED is one male clip....lol.
I love the stands. But, the CS is Horse...well..you know.
I bought mine from cabelas, and when you call them and say that you are missing important parts, they show up no questions asked...
Great.
Order me a couple male clips!
