Title: which carbone vary LEAST/MOST in spine in a dz???
Post by: Matt Green on January 29, 2011, 10:47:00 PM
I have heard of spine variation in carbon arrows among a dz. Who has tested spine in a dz arrows? Which 'breed' of arrow seems to be most/least consistent? NOT trying to dog/promote any product, just consdiering new arrows and thought i'd ask. Might help avoid   :banghead:  when tuning.
thanks in advance.

I only shot carbons with the wheels and I found Radial X weaves to be the straightest and most consistent arrows I ever had.And by far the most strongest I ever shot.JMHO

While Kevin was making the "Spine-O-Meter" we tested alot of different carbons. We found that
alot of them were off in spine. We took readings at 3 different spots (were the fletching lined up). We got 3 different spine readings from the same shaft. In the end most were close as stated, and some way off.  Victory shafts were very close most all the time....
