A friend after seeing pictures of my targets asked me where I got my burlap bags. He said he had looked every where near him and couldn't find any.
I told him the next time I went to Columbia I'd pick some up for him. While I was there I figured it wouldn't hurt to have some spares so I picked up a few for myself while I was at it.
Well once I had the bags I figured I might as well fill a few of them and not only have spare bags but spare targets as well.
I needed to take some extra pictures of a bow I had for sale so I decided to kill two birds with one stone...lol
Here are my new targets. They work great! They don't just stop the arrows but are supper easy to pull too.

Thanks for looking!

Nice job Mudd! I love those bags. Im having a heck of a time finding them local here. Im going to resort to buying a regular target unfortunately. Funny tho, that center bag says New York... Hmm
That's a pretty bow Roy, what is it? :saywhat: Oh yeah, the bags look good too. :archer2:
What did you fill em with? Nice bow by the way.
I have been getting the feed store bags for $1, but they are the woven plastic ones. They don't last as long as I would like. I sure miss the old 100# burlap feed bags, and would like to find some like those.
I have stuffed them with different stuff, but rags mixed with other textile type scraps work best. Plastic mixed in works good, but all plastic shopping bags don't stop penetration nears as well as I would like.
Nice targets, and great looking bow.
The bow is a Bushman, American Native, 58" 43@28.

I just sold it today!

Hey, if some of you are looking for bags I have an off and on supply of white woven plastic 50# feed sacks. They work great for me. Ya just fill em with whatever and spray paint a dot on em and go shoot.
If any one wants any let me know....
That is one sweet bow for sure!
I have been using those bags for years and they make awesome targets. I slide an old piece of industrial rubber mat in the back and no more pass thru arrows!
Great looking bow!
