Still working on building my Associate Sponsership into full blown. Out side of Tradgang, I refinish bows, back limbs with snakeskins, do custom leather work, but can also offer materials/patterns for building your own stuff. I just received a really good stock of prairie and diamondback rattlesnakeskins, leather of ALL types, tools for leatherwork, etc. Just wondering what you all are interested in being offered for sale here at Tradgang. Dont want to post what isn't needed/wanted. Tradgangers will get top priority, even if I make less than on other medias elsewhere. If you want/cant find something, "custom" related...I'm not talking manufactured name brand products..I mean special quiver sizes, special designs, different snakeskins, any type fur pelts, antlers, burrs, different types of leathers....you name it, and I probably have a good source. I'm not looking to make a killing, just help out fellow trad people and have some fun doing it! And vice versa... Give me a yell! See you out there!
Man I have a bow that I would love to put skins on. Also have another that needs a refinish....no rush on either, but having someone close will be sweet.
David if you can get your hands on some hunter
repellant that I can use to "border-off" about
100 acres of premuim state land this fall,I'll
give you a wheelbarrow full of cash for it's
recipe. LOL. seriously though some leather
to make a nice back quiver, some leather lace to
stitch it with, and a nice rabbit pelt all sound
pretty good.
Deep do it yourself back quiver kits for a Hill style.
Riverrat post the property 55 and over nudist colony. That should keep them out. :goldtooth:

Cool kids stuff. I seen a post the other day here someone had "Dumbbo" and other kids Disney critters on a little arm guard. My girl has to HAVE every thing Pink! Just ideas. Good luck.
I might have to try to swing by if I get down to the Boston way and buy a couple of skins off you.
Victor, I build more kids stuff than anything I think. Only problem is I hate charging labor for kids so I tend to go negative on those. But its worth it eh?My boys help here though! See pic of Tyler hammering away!
Have a good contact for a killer leather for backquivers. I use it, and the price is really good. Have enough funds built up for quantity buys, when you guys see it you'll love it. Soft but rigid, no break in required, only 5 oz. but can be doubled up if you need a heavy quiver or double up in certain areas, and still be affordable. Oil tanned for outdoor use, getting harder to find. Everything is veg tan now and has to be treated to withstand elements. Thats more time, product and cost.
Its really frustrating. You want to offer a quality product at a decent cost. Not easy!!!
But thats why I'll offer do it yourself stuff.
I will offer leather in pieces instead of half or full sides. Unless thats what you want, I have it.
But if you dont have the cash for half sides, I can sell you what you need. I can use the rest.
Color varies between browns to burgundy. Nothing set in stone, but thats why it is cheaper. When I get it, I can offer pics. I have a chocolate brown and burgundy available now, but others are a phone call away. I have built a vast contact list, so I'm lucky to have MANY sources tried and true.
I think my best advantage, is that I've built a supplier base from around the world. I can get anything from armadillo shells, to every african game species, to snakes of all kinds worldwide(LEGAL even!),any leather you can think of,bones, teeth, claws, furs, exotic woods, if you can't find it, I probably can.
The business name is Wilderness Quest. Website is being worked on....more info as I build it.
What lpcjon2 said! I don't like the looks of the Wyandotte leather back quiver kits. I would like one that looks a lot like a Hill quiver.
i have been having trouble locating copperhead skins...
David,good to know.You have a PM.
Ball python skins! 30"ers.
You have a great idea. I was trying to find a piece of leather the other day for a bow grip. Almost imposible if you don't live by a Tandy shop or like what ThreeRivers has to offer. Knife blades (for making your own) an sheaths, beads, rabbit skins, leather dye. Beavertail just enough for one grip instead of four. Buckels and fasteners ect. Leather quiver kits. You will know what we want because you know what we are going to use it for. Great Idea!!
I think skins like copperhead, and I have found no one to have any grass crap. things that others here don't carry
George, dont you mean Grass CARP??? heh, heh
I can get those, pretty cheap too.
Making a list, will get back to everyone ASAP.
David glad you clarified that up,cause my dog was making a fresh batch of what he wrote he wanted.I didn't know how I would package it for shipping.
QuoteWhat do you guys need?
The 45ยข per each excise tax on wood shafting removed.
A nice grip kit with everything you need for installation.
Here's one. Knives can be had, and knives can be assembled from components, but a good sheath is hard come by if the smith doesn't include one. Terrible to have to buy a quarter hide for just a sheath.
You could pre-assemble a kit or even a pattern and chunk of leather.
beaver tail grip do it yourself kit
and a friend of mine is looking for bullsnake skin to put on a back quiver and/or a bow quiver
plus you mentioned you can get almost any leather legally, how about sealskin rests?
oops you're right grass carp, I guess being a plumber I have crap in the brain.
I don't have a back quiver. I've been hankering to have one for 3-D and roving. I'd be attracted to a "kit" or materials with a blueprint for making one. Chocolate Brown would be my preference. I would want want that was real supple rather than barrel-like.
Charlie, I can take care of that .45 excise tax, but it will cost .46 to do it. :bigsmyl:
It would be worth it. 'Cause at least then I'd know where my money was going. :readit:
I could use a consistent anchor point and release.
Just posted my first add in sponser classifieds, please check it out. Thanks, Dave

Knife blades/kits would be sweet.
Beaver tail lik TJ said...that'd be handy as well.
Real wild turkey feathers maybe?
Guys are always looking for mercury nocks...
That reddish beaver tail would look good on my HH Redman. :D
Dave do you have any kudu or sheep horn? Thanks gib
