Ok I know some guys here know this answer,
what causes it? Its obviously from rabbits, I saw a lot of blue snow today and am curious.
They been eating wild blueberries ? :D
Them there wabbits fill water pistols with blue Gatorade and play cops and robbers. :D

Never seen blue snow, sounds kinda weird, and if a rabbit is causing it, might be scared to eat it to.
European buckthorn. Apparently a chemical passes through them with the urine and turns blue when exposed to sunlight.
I have seen blue-green urine from deer too. I believe that is from eating cedar.

Thanks Jamie,
I knew there had to be an interesting scientific explanation.
Your mojo arrow was riding at my side.
If it mixes with yellow snow do you get green!!!??? :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Thanks for the answer Jamie  I've seen Yellow , but blue :dunno:
Hey I googled. Boring day at work. :biglaugh:
Wow......never heard of that before. Learn something new every day.
Now I'm gonna be looking for blue snow! :D Jason
I'll be buggered. I saw that in Ontario when I lived there over 40 years ago and although I knew it was bunny pee I had no idea why it was blue. And I recall there being buckthorn in the area.
Thanks Ishiwannabe. Where did you learn that little gem???

I've seen that too a few years back, there was blue snow right next to a row of evergreens that were stripped bare by deer. They were so hungry they resorted to eating this type of vegetation, poor buggers. :(
I work in the aviation industry... we stay away from the "blue ice".
I thought they were drinking windshield washer fluid. :biglaugh:
It was amazing how much blue snow there was in the rabbit tracks. I thought it had something to do with mating.
Probably the rabbits sloshing their CuraƧao.
Damn wild drunks.

My dad (aircraft mechanic) has some pretty funny stories about that stuff!
Watch out were the bunnies go and don't you eat that bright blue snow....
Its gotta be those wild Smurfs.
My 1st thought was someone was trying the carpenters blue chalk dust on their fletchings in order that they might easier find their arrows after missed shots at said bunny rabbit...lol
God bless,Mudd
