Very nice.
Like it!!
Congrats Jon,I know how much you love those bows and how a big part of your life they are!I am really glad for you.Enjoy it.
Felix
I've always wanted to shoot one, and that one is nice....
that is gorgeous, idk why but Habu bows seem so exotic and high end.
It'll look great with you behind a Manitoba bruin. Beautiful bow Jon...can't wait to try it!
cacciatore, I really like this one. Been shooting it all day, and it is one heck of a shooter. This one is the tripple carbon model. I've got another one that is a double carbon model, that is only 46lbs. And of course I still have my old Ebony recurve.
Ryan, you gotta stop tempting me with that!
Nice tris!!So you have Bocote,Cocobolo and Ebony! What's the next?
She's a beaut
Wow, she's a beauty :bigsmyl:
Love that Bocote! Nice.
Eric.
VERY NICE CONGRATULATIONS
Good looking bow!!
You know, sometimes bocote is just so-so. When you see an example like yours, its tough to beat. I have to admit I'm jealous....that is an absolute killer bow.
Fine looking machine!!
Jon,
Sweet Bu. Ive been considering them myself. Do you also own one with the Hybrid limbs? I'm curious as to how they compare? Any differences in draw, cast, etc. Which perform better for you?
Thanks
That is a really nice bow
Congrats
Georgeous Habu, love Bucote Jon!
I'm just a little jealous.. Happy for you to.
Congrats, that is very nice looking, you did well!!!
Great looking bow Jon I'm sure we will see it draped over a monster this fall.
Very nice,

That's a good looking bow you got.
Zmonster, I do not own one with the hycurve limbs. I almost ordered the hycurve limbs on this bow, but then decided at the last minute to go with the longbow limbs. I have however shot the hycurve limbs and they are incredible. I believe Chris Cox told me they are a bit faster than the longbow limbs. The hycurve limbs are probably a bit smoother, but it probably would not be noticible to most people. I like the longbow limbs, because they are so quiet.
Good luck with it buddy! It's a beaut :clapper:
Nice bow Jon
Jon:
Great looking bow... Love Bacote..
Have ya found a lease yet?
Really want to try one of those - I have only ever seen em in pics. (maybe a good thing) They are sweet looking bows!
J
Lucky you Jon,
Easiest bow to shoot accurately that I've ever shot.Mr Cox builds a great bow.
Nice. How's it shooting?
Nice!
Good looking bow congrats!!!
 Worth the wait I'll bet! Great looker you got there.
Jon,
Thanks for the feedback. Ill keep that in mind.
Wow! Gotta love that Bocote. Jon what quiver is that?
The best bow quiver ever built IMO. HABU quiver.
May I ask what was the wait period?...Nice!
Really nice looking bow, congrats. The Habu fit and finish with the exotic woods is just stunning.
Nice choice Jon!
I suppose that I do not shoot well enough to think I could want somethingelse other than my much awaited Dream TC bow for tighter quarters.
I would have never pursued such a high commodity bow if the one I test drove on numerous occasions didn't significantly fit me better than any of my previous high-end bows that I had shot literally 1000's of times. Many times perception is eveything.
Another dream of yours has been fulfilled.
Congrats!
O-MY that is something! Congradulations Jon. Hap
Looks great
Awesome looking bow. A nice set of bamboo arrows will really set that off.
There is only one bow that I regret selling. It was my Habu Death Adder. I don't miss any of the other bows. But, I wish I had that one back.
Enjoy that Habu!
Matt
nice..
She is a Beaut! Bocote is one of my favorite woods ,with that phonelic it looks awesome ,Congrats!
Congrats, they are great looking bows
Sweet looking bow, congrats!
Gorgeous Shooter :)
:campfire:
Sweeeeeeet Jon!!!!!
free2bow, the waiting list is probably around 2 years now. This thing shoots great...I can't put it down!
very nice lookin bow
you are killing me, Mine is supposed to be here the end of the month, Can't wait now, Mine is Ebony 62" longbow limbs 70lbs. at 28, I will post pictures when I get it. Two years is a long time to wait for a bow!
L. Perry, now you're killing me! I ALMOST went with the ebony, but I'm a real sucker for bacote. 70lbs? I only WISH I could shoot that much weight!
Glad you didn't go with ebony, wouldn't have been enough left for me. Yours must have been the one he was finishing before mine. First longbow I will have. Always been a recurve guy, But sure it will perform fine.
Jon,
I just had to check it out again.
It actually looks even better the 2nd time.
L.Perry, I'm like you. Always been a recurve guy. But I don't really consider the hybrid style longbows to really be longbows. I mean they shoot pretty much just like a recurve. The biggest difference is that the longbow limbs are quieter. I'm sure you'll really love the bow. It's really fast, quiet, and refreshingly smooth for longbow limbs. And I love the grip on habus.
L.Perry,
If those 70lbers aren't to your liken.I've got a 55lbs @ 28'' hycurve limbs that are 60'' and are bacote w/ a ebony fadeout.Boy they sure would look good on your ebony riser.LOL
70lbs. is a little lighter than I am used to so should be ok. PM me with a price though, never have enough limbs! Ha Ha
Nice! Congrats.
I love bocote as well. (sweet)
I've been shooting this bow nonstop since I got it. I LOVE my old Habu recurve...but I actually shoot this vyperkhan noticeably better than the recurve. I told this to Chris Cox, while talking to him on the phone yesterday, and he told me the reason was "because the vyperkhan is a better bow". The other thing that has really shocked me is how much nicer the tripple carbon model is to shoot than the double carbon vyperkhan. I figured the extra lamination of carbon had something to do with it...but Chris said it has more to do with the way he is tillering them now. The tripple carbon is smoother than the double carbon. In fact...it is every bit as smooth as my Habu recurve. The tripple carbon actually has even less handshock than the double carbon vyperkhan...and less than the recurve. Really loving it...and shooting it very well. Can't wait for turkey season!
Mine should be here Wednesday, I can't wait to shoot it after reading all your information. Wasn't to worried about when it would get here until you started this post! Now am driving myself nuts!
Jon,
Out of curiousity, what arrows have you spec'd out for her.
L. Perry Chris was finishing yours up when I talked to him the other day. Make sure you post some pictures of it!
Hey Friend, I'm shooting an axis 400 out of it. The bow is 56Lbs at 29 inches, but I don't quite draw 29. More like 28.5
Nice really like the wood choice.
That bow looks great!
Congrats!
Jason
