2/3/2011- I changed the subject
I make my own finger Tabs. I shoot 3 under. To keep me from losing my tabs and to keep the tab in position ready for shooting I sewed a loop on the back of the tab for my middle finger. Works great. Gives lots of dexterity and allows you to use you fingers for grabbing arrows from your quiver, always having it ready for shooting. You can spin it around and have the use of your fingers quickly. I take it You shoot 3 under..
I shoot 3 under too. I'll take one!
What kinda leather you use?

That's a very clever idea Davesea. In speed shoots most folks put their Tab away, your idea will stop it flapping around and enable you too get an arrow onto the string and away as quick as bare fingers I'd say.
I'll pinch the idea if you don't mind.

looks good Buddy. :clapper:
Very nice. Do you use a specific type of leather?
I'd take one too, looks good
Good idea there, sure looks good!
This should work for split finger too. You would just sew the one loop on the inside of the top of the middle finger.
I use whatever leather I find in the bin at Tandy.
Let me know how it works for you guys.
looks good, might make one myself.
Very cool idea! I'll have to give it a try on one of my tabs. My tab I use in the winter is a little bigger than the others and it always smacks my face when I release so it's a perfect candidate for a finger loop. Thanks for sharing!
I make my own tabs too. I use a mixture of Beeswax & Carnuba, warm the tab for a tiny bit (hot enough to melt the wax) rub the wax on till the leather won't take any more. Keeps your tab pretty slick & makes it last a long time.
Jacko,
I am really liking the finger loop. Have you tried it yet or are you dealing with Cyclone YASI? Good luck and be safe.
Dave
Very cool idea.
Thanks Larry,
Let me know if you get a chance to try it.
