Title: What is in season Oct 17th-30th?
Post by: DXH on January 28, 2011, 07:55:00 PM
Me and my old room-mate were wanting to do a diy hunt for sept elk, but my vacation didn't fall when I wanted it to.

So my question is...what type of critter is in season we can do a backpack hunt on during the above time frame?

Go to realtree.com and they have all of the states' seasons and regs.  Kind of hard to answer your question.  Missing a tad bit of detail.

Hey guys thanks for the replies, meant to specify..looking for something other than white-tail, and hog as we have those available locally. Wanting a back-pack trip..moose, caribou, blackbear, maybe mule deer? or a state with elk in season then?

Also been thinking we may just wait and go 2012 season, as we both had the mindset we really wanted an elk
