No, I didn't make one...not yet anyway. I just started reading the book "Hunting with Bow and Arrow" by Saxton Pope. He tells of Ishi's bow sock being made from a cougar tail!
Nicest quiver I ever saw was made from a complete otter.
Sounds interesting ::::: Would be great to see one . Anyone have one :dunno:
I have a picture of Ishi's otter quiver taken from the book "yahi archery" by Saxton Pope, I also have the book in PDF and can email it to whoever wants it
give me a minute and I will post the picture
Otter quivers I have made....sure would like to do a cougar !!!!

I have a young cougar hide waiting to become a quiver. Hit by a car, had to fix up the hide leg, but its complete with all paws and claws, now ready to go, just have to get some time.
Complete hides make for the best, here is a recent badger with all claws intact.....
