I can't find them! My standing black bear to the right and my broadside whitetail just to the left....they were there yesterday right in front of the haybales, anybody seen them?

I had a new one disappear a couple of years ago. I went in for supper and came out and someone stole it off my yard in full daylight. I sent the cops after every archer in the area. It was dumped on a yard a block away three days later. The man called me and it was taken from his yard before I got there to pick it up. My backyard target is frozen to the ground and buried, this is the fourth winter in a row of this terrible global warming hiding my target in the snow.
Yikes.. you got some snow :help:
Al Gore must have been shooting in your yard. :bigsmyl:
Looks very similar to mine....and everything else too. Woke up to 16" new snow today (on top of the 2' already here)
Treachery! Treachery! They're probably still out there lurking in wait.
Don't drop your guard!
Well YORNOC,maybe all that snow will lead to some great striper fishing this june. If your
into that anyway.
we dont have that problem in south ARk
I can't find mine either under all the snow. I need a new one anyway after a black bear ripped the head off my deer target this year.I guess i will find it in the spring.
No, in Arkansas nerve gas leaks just knock birds out of the air.
mmmmmm....no. It's 58 degrees here today.
Bet that'll make you pick a spot though!
I don't really care about the snow, it is 35 degrees today. I just got my new Buffalo Big Shot with long deep grab finger stalls and they sent a free bow tip protector with it. how cool is american leathers anyway.
Back before McKenzies and that type target I had 5 Perrine targets (flat 2-D) in my yard that I left out all the time (over a year)to shoot whenever I wanted. Came home one day and they were all gone. My brother lived about a mile from me at the time and I thought that he was playing a joke on me. Called him up and gave him a ration of stuff over the phone. He knows nothing of what I'm talking about. Someone really did steal them! Looked around all the archers houses that I knew and never did find them.
Mine looks just like that. Haven't been able to shoot for over a month. I've been locked-down in my sailboat for 3 days, and I've only ridden one of my motorcycles one day since the Dec 26 Blizzard. We've still got alot of snow from that storm, with 6 small to large storms since. I hate Winter! I'll take mid Oct to mid Nov all year round.
I think I forgot how to shoot =(, havent shot in well over a month.
I must be a lucky guy, I have a sheep barn that is 240ft long. Flood lights help alot also, but it still gets a little cold too shoot sometimes. But I lose my Glendale Bucks in the winter also on my outdoor range. Spring I hope soon. Don
I'm so Glad I moved to Tejas... I love snow, but Not that much..
Now I feel bad for shooting with the wife today, nice and sunshine in south Ms 54 degrees. I was working on my trade bow and she came out in the shop with her bow and offered the challenge. Had to stop and have a shoot-out with her.
James.........................
Practice long range shots now because they can't run fast! :archer2:
65 degrees today in Washington. I can see my targets just fine.
Yep I have the same problem! I gave up on digging mine out. I'm saving my back for shoveling the driveway. I'll just shoot in the garage until some snow melts. Hopefully that will be before turkey season starts in May. LOL
Don't have the snow problem but the bucks around here tear mine all to peices. I don't know if they are loving on em too much or fighting them because they tear up the ones without horns too. :dunno: :dunno: guess i have pretty targets..
Oh, Those are your targets, I was wondering how you got a pic of my backyard.
Butch Louzon
well i hate to say this but that looks way to cold i like it better when there is a fire going :campfire: :campfire:
Well the temps are getting better, but I still hate this snow. Someday we will be moving from it.... someday.
That's interesting, they disappear just like the real thing. Can't wait for spring.
Don't shoot till you see the whites of there eyes :nono: ;)
Yes I dug mine out, snows up to there backs. I'll bet the deer are having a go at it. The good thing is it's soft and the Yotes can't move in the stuff. I watched a dog the other day it took him major efforts to get across a 80yd field. He kept stopping to rest then hopping through the snow. I hope it wipes out plenty before it hardens up to give them the edge.
A friend sent this last winter. Bear looks cold. (http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/k535/jhughes1818/winterbear.jpg)
Just be patient and let them step-out, then take the shot. I would suggest waiting in the house.
There's a problem we don't see much in south Mississippi!Lol
