Can't wait to see them!!! See you Friday evening Blake.
can't wait to see them..
One of my first stops on Friday! Looking forward to checking those bad dogs out!
There Wolf.
But can they be used anytime other then a full moon lol. I would like to see them, they sound fierce.
Looking forward to checking those out.
marty, why are you talking like that? I thought you wanted to!..............classic!
Marty,
Who's on first? Where wolf? There wolf.
Funny.
Blake
Blake , could you give us a discription? Is this a new three blade? Thanks,Paul
Blake Got any pics of the wolf. Thanks Don
My understanding from talking to Blake is that it is a two blade screw-in head with aircraft aluminum ferrele and stainless blade.
Travis
WHAT?! No Titanium?!?!
Teflon coated, Tanto tip, titanium-less. ttt 175gr?
House...that sounds like the old blue bear screw-ins......I liked those when I used them.
Unless I have forgotten my lore.... It needs to be silver and blessed. LOL
Cant wait to see em.....
ttt 1lasttime
What are the chances of seeing these available anytime soon? Or will they all be sold out immediately?
Gotta chance to take a look at the new werewolf head at Kzoo last night. Pretty mean looking. Stainless blade and down right sharp. If you get by Kzoo today or tomarrow take some time to look Blake up, you won't be disappointed. dino
Blake, Your kinda teasing us that wont be there. Cant wait to see pic's.Have fun a k-zoo
Saw the Werewolf at KaZoo. Great looking head. Very sharp. I was expecting to see something more like the Eclipse head and the Werewolf is completely different in desigh and materials. Priced at $90 for 6.
How many grains?
175 and 200 for sure. Don't remember the other weight. The 175 had a blue ferrule and the 200 a red ferrule.
Thanks! These heads will be perfect for my needs. Price is good too.
Hello i saw some pics of what was presented like the new Wherewolf on a french generalist bowhunter forum
I hope it's a joke ... the broadhead look like a copy with single bevel of bear razorhead
please, don't misunderstandig me, i shoot my very 2 o 3 very first game with Bear razorhead some years ago. Very nice broadheads and easy to sharp
but when you begin to get more interested with arrow optimisation you try some time to shoot stronger broadhead like Grizzly , Abowyer or the wonderful Eclipse
Sorry very much, but According to what i see on this pic i can't believe it's the same maker ...
i heard it looks like the rage
I saw the Werewolf in Kzoo and to me they look similar to 2 blade Magnus Stingers but available in heavier weights and single/double bevels. I shoot 125/150 gr stinger 2/4 blades so didn't feel the need to spend the cash on the Werewolf.
IMO, if you like the Stingers but feel the need for more weight/bevel options the Werewolf would be a great choice.
Hey pete, whoever told you it looks like the rage is quite a joker! Maybe more like one of the ABS/Ashby heads. Silverflames maybe.
It would be easier to try them if they were packaged in threes instead of 6.
It doesnt look like a Rage at all. Bmac is closer with the Stinger.
Kibok&Ko- Sharpen up on your english writing skills. That has got to be the hardest to read post I have ever seen. Maybe you are "trying to make joke" like Borat, high five!

I thought a 3 pack would've been helpful too. I didn't want to pay $90 for my first try with a new broadhead. That said, $90 for 6 makes them half the price of the Silverflames that look very similar.
pics???? :dunno:

Great Jashu, i read on a news paper that almost everybody now can speak and read spanish in your country. I'm much more familiar with this language, if you want i can redo it in spanish to help you :D
what i wanted to speak about is my feeling , just a personnal thing, Eclipse is one of my favorite tool and they are so strong ...

That pretty much sums it up. They just did not appear to be of the same quality as other heads in this price range. I'm sure they work fine though.

Your newspaper is wrong, "almost everbody" cannot speak or read Spanish. In fact that isnt even close to the truth. Seems your newspapers are about as reliable news as ours are. I compliment you, that was easy to read.. ;)

muchas gracias :bigsmyl:
Por nada...
:biglaugh:
Molson, what did you see "quality wise" that makes you think these heads are somehow inferior? Just wondering, I'm not a broadhead expert, historian, or metallurgist, just a bowhunter.
Perhaps "quality" might have been the wrong word. What I did not like was the bright colors and shiny blades. They did not appear to be a new design to me and they gave me the impression they were "unfinished" probably because of the solid bright stainless blade.
I saw the heads and yes the colors were a bit flashy. I thought the furrel looked cheap/weak, but then looking at the thickness of the blade, I thought they would work just fine. They didnt look like anything I had ever seen before.....Oh and to me, the ones laying on the table were extremely sharp!
Just looked at the pics on page 2, I dont recall seeing the black ones on Saturday. I saw bright red and blue ones and thought I recall the blade was solid, no vents.

Great looking design and material choices.
Blake...
Could you show us a pic of them disassembled?
I'd like to see how the blades fasten on the rear.
I see there are 2 screws. Is it just flat across on the rear of the blade or is there a "notch" of some kind?
Thanks
$15 each? You making these for the guys who have quiverbearers and hire professional trackers?
I just looked, the last broadhead I bought cost $2.41 each ($14.50/6). :biglaugh: Been a while, but it shows they hold up.
I wish you the best success but I back away slowly without making eye contact.

Thankfully that's not the case. In fact, most Americans I know only speak or write English. And that's kind of sad in a way.
But I can converse in Canadian and Australian and catch maybe every third word of British!
ooooo, dat's NICE!
I really like the idea of a thick bladed, heavy, double bevel head.......I may have to order some of the 200 gr ones.
Clearly these are not intended for the masses, but are for those that are interested in top tier premium heads. They appear to have all the right stuff and are close to half the price of similar offerings.
I can't wait to get my hands on some and give them a good workout.
If you prefer $5 heads and you haven't tried the original Eclipse line they are excellent heads, well worth a good look as well.
Great idea with the color coding. I have bunches of heads that I weigh and re-weigh all the time.
Also, the tips should satisfy the "I don't like the way the needle tip bends" crowd.
Good looking head Blake....good luck with them. I think there's a definate niche for these.

Agree totally...
They sure look well built to me. I would like to see a 4 blade option, and a 3 pack as well.
Hi Blake,
Are the heads also "Teflon" coated like the other Eclipse heads? They look like great heads and I look forward to trying them. Good luck with all things Eclipse.

.......Great looking broadhead ! Will they be offered in a 3 pack in the future ?
Note the red Werewolf next to the other Eclipse heads in my quiver. This broadhead is as tough as I've used...no worries from Montana.
****Please re-size pic no wider than 640, thanx****
Wow Erik--Congrats on a fine Whitetail!!!
Needless to say, he didn't go far.

Thanks Kevin, you need to try these heads...they're awesome.
Peter,
I am trying to get Teflon on the blade, and so the next batch should be Teflon coated like the Eclipse.
Riverwolf,
3-packs are coming, I was lucky to have anything for K-Zoo.
Blake
Blake,
Looks like great heads!! Any idea before they come out in Teflon and in 3-packs?
Thanks,
Joe
They look like ABS Nanooks, only half the price. Well done.
Looks like they could be a bugger to glue on, eh? :p

lol
Blake,
Thank you for the reply. They look like a great head and I'm anxious to try them. Best of luck and please keep me/us posted on when I may order some with a teflon coating.

For a quality US made broadhead, this is still much better than "now made in China" Silverflames etc. The price with those is virtually the same and now they're not made in a western country anymore. That is how you ruin a good "brandname". It is similar in price to the VPA heads, which are made in the US also.
No, it is not a $2.50 head, but at the Kalamazoo Expo Blake was so nice to lend us a few of his eclipse heads for the arrow-fix booth for demonstrations. The nicest ferrules I have seen on a broadhead so far. I shoot Magnus Vented 4-blades mainly, but think about switching to the Eclipse with bleeder blades.
For the final Werewolves I am shooting for 8 weeks, but it has taken me a year to get this far, so I am not going to promise anything.
Blake
Blake, please put me on the posting list when the 3 pack teflon coated heads are available. I didn't stop and talk at KaZoo, just looked them over. My financial manager was with me and said"No way, $90 for broadheads!" So, I didn't want to FURTHER embarrass myself. Looks like a great head. Thanks. Mike Gerard owlbait
Herb's still sells German Kinetics. I also use Eclipses and have since day one.

I'm glad to hear there is going to be a 3-pack. I wouldn't have tried them at $90 for a 6-pack.
