Mornin gang,
I dont generally switch equipmet very often so I am asking for the wisdom of the masses on this one. I worked a trade with a fellow ganger for a 63@28 l/b my arrows will be 29.5 with 200gr up front. For whatever reason I have 2 dozen 2114's laying around here and was hopin they will work (just cant afford to buy new ones at the moment) I have a feelin they are gonna be light what say you.
Way under spined. Carbon recommendaton, Arrow Dynamic Trads, aluminum recommendation 2315's.
It depends on how much your bow is cut to center. If those arrows are indeed underspined, all you have to do is build out the side/strike plate to make the arrows act stiffer. Experiment with it until you are getting your field tipped arrows grouping with your broadhead tipped arrows and you are good to go and are able to save some money as well.
You can also lower the front end weight if you have to.
You could also take some of the weight off the front to stiffen them up a little. Probably going to need at least 2117s for that set up. If ever come near Charlotte I have a could I would give you to try.
I would try 2020s, longbows seem easier to tune and be a bit more forgiving with smaller dia. shafts......at that length and point weight you should be right on. 2020s are also a nice heavy tough shaft.
