Title: My Indoor Range and Arsenal
Post by: Mudd on January 25, 2011, 10:11:00 PM
I finally figured out the spacing to get the maximum yardage inside the house.

I also am posting a couple of pictures of my exercise equipment.

It's good to see someone else string so many to have a shoot fest. Much more of a challenge to shoot all your bows. I also  have 14yds through a doorway in my basement. Love it, seems like so many days would get by if I could'nt shoot inside. Nice post Roy

Nice set up you have there Mudd.
I set up a little range in my basement
and about 9 yards is all I can get.
At least it keeps the bow muscles in shape.

Enjoy,

I have a 15 yard shot in my basement. Mudd, do yourself a favor and get a 4' by 4' piece of plywood for behind the target.

Tony I'm getting about 9 yds at the max but truly I think I'm using about 8 of it.

I hauled 4 3/4 length sheets of particle board upstairs, made a nice little range of about 10 yds.
It was quite a bit of sweat and labor getting it done only to figure out that my ceiling is way lower up there...lol

I will haul some if not all of the particle board down to put behind my target.

I appreciate you folks looking out for me.

               :archer:

PS: I know that seems like a lot of bows but stuff accumulates over a lifetime(60 yrs) and the numbers are way down now.
In case there are some who don't know me, let me introduce myself... Hi my name is Mudd and I'm a "bowaholic"...lol

Mudd, is that a hole under the light switch?  Just asking.  Right now I have about a 10 yd shot across the garage if my wife doesn't notice(her car sets just beyond the target)

It is a hole and I didn't have to pay extra for it...lol

If I knew how to photoshop or whatever you call it, I'd have fixed that hole...lol

God bless,Mudd

PS: I'm no better at plaster work than I am with photoshop so I'll just live with the hole....lol

Mr Mudd
Good on you Buddy for what ever it takes. I shoot approx 12 yds through my washroom and into the corner of the garage. I back my target up with a 4' by 4' piece of plywood just in case. Haven't needed it yet but who knows. Occasionally my wife waves a white flag on a broom handle just to let me know she's coming out. LOL!!!! Thanks for the Post. Let's me know others are doing the same......

Mudd: Great looking Bows, looks to me like some of those bows are getting lonesome, they seem to need more buddies (bows) to join them. Enjoy Don God Bless

LONGSTYKES I think it's wonderful that you are concerned for my bows.

I'm not sure they are all that lonely since they have their own couch and have my undying attention...lol

I am planning on some changes/additions/deletions though...lol

It's part of the addiction and fun of being a "bowahohlic"..lol

Watch for them!!!

God bless,Mudd

PS: I can't tell you and the others that offer me your blessings how much it means to me. Thank you!
