Title: Toelke Whip in Central Illinois
Post by: flint kemper on January 25, 2011, 10:03:00 PM
Does anyone in Central Illinois own a Toelke Whip in 62 or 64 inch length? I would like to look one over and shoot one as well. Let me know. Thanks Flint

hi flint,   if you can't find one dan does a "try before you buy" option like some other bowyers.

i had a whip and it was a great bow. superbly crafted and shot very fast and quiet. from time of order to delivery was less than a month too..

I have a 64" Whip, and a 64" Classic Whip. They are both essentially the same bow, excepting for the difference in the grip. Both are aggressive deflex/reflex bows. Beautiful workmanship! really beautiful ..... Both shoot fast, accurate, and quiet, with no hand shock.
I am happy with my Toelke Bows.
And like mentioned above, Dan Toelke is great to deal with. My bow fit like a glove.

I had one, it was a little short for me so I traded it off, but it was very smooth out to my draw (30.5) for a 60" bow. The thumb rest is great too. It shot a smoking arrow as well.

Flint: Hope you can find one of Dan's Bows to try out you will be impressed. Toelke Whips are one of the smoothest shooting Long Bows around. Also will launch an arrow with authority. I have 2 Whips, 1 takedown 60" 57#@27" and a one piece 64" 50#@28".
This saturday I will attend the Traditional Bowhunters of Montana Convention and Banquet, Plan on trying out Dan Toelke's new 3 piece TD Lynx. Shoots like a Whip says Dan. You will enjoy God Bless
