I`m thinking about hunting with some wood this year. The last time I used wood I had some Chundo arrows that I really liked I got from Wildcat Canyon. Rumor is chundo is hard to get hold of now. Where do you fellas get your built wood arrows at? I`m not after purty, I want quality tapered arrows made for cracking ribs.RC
Rick Stillman of the Feathered Shaft. Also known as Fletcher here on Trad Gang!
Surewood Shafts - out of Jefferson, Oregon. They are Douglas Fir. Little heavier and tougher than cedar and will crack those ribs.
RC, I sent you a PM
Rick Stillman
Joe Lorenzen here on TG. Assoc. Sponsor, sells as jlnft. Some of the truest, most consistent arrows I've shot, I will be ordering more.

I get shafts from Raptor Archery and build My own...
I make my own, but if I ever buy pre-made arrows, I'm going to buy from Rick Stillman without a second thought...

Rick at the Feathered Shaft for best made arrows IMHO.
I just order Port Oford Ceder from three rivers and do my own I really like these. They have prefinished, pre tapered, anything you want.
Surewood douglas Fir from Tim at Braveheart, second to none.Exellent Service.
I've got about 3000 chundoo shafts left. They are all parallel. I won't sell them but we could maybe work out a trade on something if you are interested. They'd be hand spined and grain matched. Email me if you are interested in trying to work something out. They are just shafts.
If you want finished arrows, I agree with what many others here posted - Richard Stillman is your guy!
Good luck!
