Thinking of going back to a kwikee. I like to remove my quiver when on stand. This means i will have to get inserts installed in my riser. I would like them installed so my arrows will be inside the bottom limb any one else use this old standbuy? Any changes on the new ones? Guess i am still searching for the perfect hunting quiver thanks for your time. TD.
I have a newer 3 arrow one on my Grizzly that I remove when I get in the stand and an extra bracket to clip it in on the stand itself.
The newer ones are primarily for carbon arrows. If you get one make sure your arrows fit. If not, I think they sell replacement rubber clips for larger diameter arrows.
It is a good standby. My old one from the early 80s still functions fine and has no dry rot on the rubber.
i still use and love the kwikee quivers
ive got a little 3 arrow that is the berrys in my book as well as the regular 6 arrow
they now come a screw that can be tightened to keep them from rattling when you shoot
I just put a kwik 3 ss [one piece Kwickee three arrow] on my 1970's Kodiak Hunter, love it, and I can switch to a 6 or 4 arrow Kwickee if I feel like it. The Kwik 3 adds enough weight to my bow so i like it and is very quiet. The 6 arrow is not quiet but I take it off when I get in the tree. I will leave the Kwik 3 on the bow when I am hunting with that.
I use a kwikee 3 has two arrow grippers works fine for me and easy on,easy off. I have never liked shooting with a bow quiver.
I do!!!
I'd rather shoot without a quiver so I've been using side quivers like a GFA for about 6 years now.
This year I went back to the Kwickee Kwiver for my recurves and love it. I just slip it off while on stand and slide it onto another bracket that I screw into the tree. Works great. I like the new Kwickee's with the thumb screw to tighten the quiver to the bracket. I even covered mine with leather. My older one used to rattle around a bit. Still one of the best designed bow quivers around.
I never stopped. I don't bother with an extra bracket for my stands. I just use an extra bow hanger or trimmed limb.
I also have a side quiver that uses the Kwikee. Same thing in stand it get shung up
I have used them a long time, both on the bow and with a Mark Baker style hip deal. really a great way to take your arrows along, I have 3,4 and 6 arrow models.
very good quiver. :archer: 5
Funny. I was playing in the garage today with a Kwickee and some leather. Mounts on a belt and the quiver angle is adjustable.

The hood is a great place to velcro a compass on.
I have 2! the weight really helps me groups.
I like my 3 arrow quiver on my hoyt GMI works well in a lot of conditions!
I have heard of people using double sided tape to hold the bracket on their bow. I have not tried it. Seems like you could put it at any angle and no holes reqiured.
You mean the original two-piece kind with the four exposed broadheads? I have one but don't use it.
I do have a Kwikee-2 that I really like.

thats a great idea. i love my 3 arrow kwikee but don't use it because i don't want to drill my riser. now i can just tape it.

Silvertip and a Kwikee! That's like peanut butter and jelly, they just go together! Jason
I slipped crossing a ditch and poked my thing on the original with exposed heads
never would buy anything they made again
Yup! All my Silvertips have one. :archer:
bobman ouch! hope it did not leave a mark. I used the exposed one a couple times my self. I am a fast learner! I am talking about the the hooded ones. Thanks for the replies. TD.
I still use mine, take it off and hang it on stand.
I also still use the clamp on exposed model for small game....only flu flus and such with blunts for safety!
Hello Tim, I love my little 3 arrow kwickee kwivers I have 3 of them and my son and I switch them around on different bows or even tie a sring to it and loop it over our shoulder like a GFA.....Bobby
Awesome product!
You could just strap the quiver to a back pack if you use one. If works pretty good if you don't want to put bushings on your riser.
Have used them for 30 plus years. The 3 arrow has become my favorite. Light weight and easy to remove.
Bob
None of my bows have inserts for one. I do like them a lot and have a couple around. I have been thinking about putting inserts in my Fire Fly.
Been thinkin of covering my Kwikee-3 with leather.I wonder how much arm twisting it would take to get them to manufacture a trad variety? I've always been a Kwikee user, tough as nails! When toting the longbow it's through with the belt, feathers at the back of my neck or attached to my stand until I hang it then into the extra bracket she goes.
I have a really old one I picked up somewhere. I attached a strap and used it GFA style or strapped it on a pack. I just bought a Hoyt Game Master from a guy and it has a new one on it. Wasn't too sure what I thought about it. It didn't seem to have as much "soul" as my leather strap or slide ons.
I have been shooting this new to me bow nearly everyday since I got it. I have changed my mind about this simple little quiver. Light, tight and totally functional.
It's a keeper for me.
OkKeith
I started with the two arrow, now i used the 3 arrow.
Used one all my life. I now use one as a hip quiver. Truglo mount and a Sears tool belt...works great! I love the new double arrow holders. Seems like the broadhead would get dull going in and out of the foam hood a bunch of times. Now they are held in place by both holders and never touch anything under the hood.

dDI haave used the kwikee for 20 years, and like others I remove it when I get to my stand. I have an extra bracket mounted on a bracket that screw into the tree.
I have one of these on my Longbow. A Kwikee bracket fits with no drilling. It's quiet and balanced pretty good.
