Who hunts with them? Tell me how you like'em. They are so thick walled they've got to be the toughest aluminum arrow made.
I have my Tip shootin them like darts. 29.5/125gr BH. 555GR total weight.
Hoping to put one thru a hog this weekend if'n it snows.
I have hunted with 2020's in the past and have just set some up for one of my lighter bows. They will do the job just as good as any other arrow if tuned properly. What is nice is that they do not bend as easy as thin wall arrow and you can keep the weight up.

Their great.Heavy,tough and a small circumfirance with thick walls.Its all good in my book.
The glue in glue on broadhead inserts are nice with those shafts.The insert goes up the shaft an inch or more to increase strength at the end of shaft where you need it most.Paired with a good 2 blade glue on head you got a superb hunting arrow or stumping arrow with blunt.

I ran into a deal a number of years back and bought 8 dozen 2020's and 5 dozen 1918's for way cheap and they are AO's.
I still hunt with them, and Woodies, and Carbon. Tough to beat carbon arrows for the long term value.
I have shoot through more than a couple deer with 2020's.

I've shot them from a HH Wesley 65#,great heavy arrow.
Used them for years and still do.I stick in 3-3 1/2" oak dowelling for added strength and FOC there bomb proof.I wish Easton would reserect 1820,1818,1918 and 1920's again.

I also have used them with my Stahl Recurve. They are stout - liked them ok!
I have not shot those too much in recent years tho...shooting wood with my longbow..

2020 is a great arrow. Shot them for a long time. Decided to switch to AD Hammerheads. No going back now. :archer2:

The 2020's were the first non-wood arrows that I bought.
I picked up 1 dozen of them in 1969 and have used them ever since.
I still have 3 of that original dozen, although they are kinda battered and well used after 42 years.
They shoot well and I have been very happy with them.
I have shot them from 50# to 65# recurves.

That was my favorite aluminum arrow for a lot of years. They made a nice, heavy arrow and the thick wall made them relatively durable.
