Spent the morning with Mike at WHC bows. A great guy!! I shot just about everything he had in the shop that I could pull back. He dosen't make a lot of bows in a year, less than 25 I believe. But the quality and attention to detail is as good as I have ever seen. :clapper:
So did you buy one Mel or at least take Pics?
CJ
Maybe :bigsmyl:
:coffee: :coffee: :coffee: come on Bro dont hold out on us now LOL!!!
If you had stayed a little longer, you may have been snowed in and had to shoot his bows a little longer. I'll ask too, did you take any pics? What was your favorite?
Mike sure makes a fine bow. I've shot several, but don't own one although I should. He will be a vendor at the upcoming United Bowhunters of Missouri festival
I really liked the Kestril - 58 inch r/d longbow. Cocobolo and osage riser, olive ash limbs. Mine will be 52 at 28 with a beaver tail grip. Bow will have grip overlays and tips of osage, cocobolo and black micarta. I will go to Mike's shop again, and he will shape the grip while I am there. I am looking forward to that! I have been talking to Mike at Missouri Bowhunters for 4 years. I tell him every year, I will be up to his place - today was the day.
I've shot Mike's bows many times as well; I will own one someday....
Love my 54" recurve Mariah WHC Bow!
I asked Mike to make the grip a little fuller than his demo Mariah. He nailed it. It fits great. Hard little shooter. Love it. Mike makes an awsome bow.
Enjoy the Kestril. I figure one of them will end up on my rack someday too!
wow, no clue he made a curve! any pics??
I have 2 of them and are great bows and mike is awsome to deal with as well
