I'm still here Bill. I just don't have any wheels during the week.
Rick [Grouse]
I'm less than an hour down Rt.88 from you (and Brook's Chicken). Just outside greater metropolitan Tunnel, NY.
I dont know what you consider near, but Im about 2.75 hours south east from ya.
Bill, I'm over here near the bowman's club-- just work all week!
I'm up in Parish (north of Syracuse). About as close to Oneonta I get is down to Oxford for the annual OXTAR shoot.
im about a hr roughly. live in the binghamton NY area
1 Hour northeast of you , Between Fonda and Amsterdam........
I am also about 1 hr away, in Greene Co.
I,m a 1 1/2 hr. north east of you in the village
of Dolgeville.....
Bill It takes me 1 hour and 13 minutes to get to the center of Oneonta right down 88!
There are a few places around here to shoot.
sounds to me like we should set up a bunny hunt and all get together???
Did I hear bunny hunt?????
Oh No! Flashbacks Again! :D
... mike ...
I'm a little over an hour away. Could be nice to all get together for a shoot. Ken set up a stump shoot last year that was a blast.
I am down south now but will file this and setup a fun shoot at my place come the middle of April.
I do have a lot of 3D targets setup on the bak hill to try our luck at. Also prior to the high grass for lost arrows time frame.
Bill
Hey: Bill, this is Les Palen here, from Morris,NY. This is the first time posting on Trad Gang! I do not know if you remember, but I tried to set up a traditional shoot at the Gillbertsville Rod&Gun. There is a couple of us over on this side of the hill. Sound`s Great Les
I'm in for either a bunny scare, 3-D or just roving and making excuses.
Stump'n in the spring at a central location is always a good time. There should be some state land in the middle of all of us!
put me on the list!
I would like this as well. April-May is a busy time of year but If I can swing it I will be there, you can bet on it.
No bunnies in April but we can have a turkey shoot in prep for the up coming season. :dunno:
There is some state land just south west of Tollgate Archery...Beaver Creek State forest. That may be a central place to meet. Lots of horse trails and such. Tollgate is near Westwinfield N.Y.
Guys,
What Bill is suggesting is to shoot at his home, shop. If you insist on meeting else where then we should start a new thread.
Grouse
Your right Grouse! Overlooked that post to quickly. :readit: :knothead: I'd be up for coming down
