7 people ive introduced to Trad last year, including two kids (7and 9 years). Its amazing how fascinating Tradarchery is if youve once tried it. Therefore i often take my bows to gatherings of all sorts and let people try them.
And 7 of them wanted a bow afterwards, so ive organized used but good value bows, arrows etc for every one of them fitting for their individual needs.
I also managed to organize a day with a certified club trainer to make an introduction to form and the basics for the newbies.
Its time consuming and some effort but when you see them enjoying their first results and holding their bows proud its worth it all!
If you have the chance to, dont hesitate, introduce somebody to Trad, even if it means work for you, its well worth it!
Just wanted to share.
I did that last time my sister was down with her family.
She stuck with the Genesis bow but her son & daughter really liked the lil Green Glass jennings recurve I had over the Genesis, I even had her 2 year old shooting Katherines lil long bow.
I plan this year to organize a archery session with my wifes Girl Scout troup, I know that not only my Erin but 2 others will be glued to the spot with shooting.
Excellent,congrats you're inspiring
