If you need any advice on how to kill some time.... here it is... "Go fling some arrows!" and enjoy every second, every minute, every hour of every day that you can.
We all have the gift of time, some more, some less. We never know what our allotment is but we can live each day as if it were our last.
So if today were your last how would you choose to spend it? Who would you tell that you love them?
I pray you have a good and Godly day today and always.
God bless,Mudd
Since I retired over 3 years ago, I have had a great time; lots more time for hunting, fishing, camping and playing bad golf. You are going to enjoy your new found freedom. Get out and play in the woods and have a blast!
You are living our dream. Enjoy!
Lucky Dog,enjoy

Good luck to you, ENJOY!
Congratulations on such a long career of honest work! People who dodge it all their life in favor of Government hand-outs don't know how it feels. (Sorry, got my W-2s yesterday and was shocked how much I've contributed.)
Enjoy your retirement and don't forget to rest some of those stands now that you can sit in them every day!
Congratulations Hap! Everyday is now a Saturday, enjoy them.
Stay healthy and good luck I'm looking forward to that day if it ever comes, with this economy I'll probably fall dead working LOL
Congratulations! Job well-done. Or, perhaps: Job? Well, done.
Good for you, Hot Hap. :clapper:

Congrats! Nicely done too I might add. 44 years is amazing. Are you done with employment completely or will you dabble in something? Good luck and enjoy!
I've got a bit under two years to go but that will put me at 55 and I will need to do something to supplement a little income.

Congratulations! Enjoy......

Congratulations...I hope you enjoy every minute of it.
Well deserved! Enjoy your time!!
Man - I am ready for that day to come. Not necessarily the day I stop working but the day I can choose how I spend my time. Congrats Hap! Enjoy it brother.
Hap, Congratulations on your retirement!! I retired a little over a year ago and I am still not caught up on all of the "Honey-Do's" but I love it. Take time now to smell the roses and do those things that have been on the back burner for years and most of all spend time with the one's you love. I wish you the best and many happy and successful adventures. Oh yeah...go buy a new bow for a retirement present to yourself!
Ranger44-I walked out that door and I'm not going to walk in another. I have about 2000 POC shafts in the basement and have bought 15 dz. carbons and 20 dz. aluminums to play around with.
Lpcjon2-The wife says she don't want me in her hair, so I'm good to go.
Trad shooter-I've been looking at another Rose Oak. Best shooter I've ever had.
Thanks again-Hap
Hap,
First off Congratulations! I am jealous!
Why not just punch me in the stomach to take my breath away or hit me in the mouth to knock a few teeth out? I have a long way to go at 49!
I envy you! But you have paid your dues, so to speak. I think with all your "spare" time, you will be posting a lot of helpful hints for the rest of us here on Tradgang!
Well deserved friend. Enjoy yourself and leave some dumb ones for the working bunch.
Awesome stuff, good for you!
Welcome to the OLD FARTS' CLUB! I've been a member since June 1 myself and I'm loving it! I do find that I'm busier than ever, but I get to choose what I'm busy doing!
Congrats and enjoy it, sounds like you've earned it.
Russ
Congrats to you Hap :campfire: :archer:
Congratulations on being a graduate of the working world. Give them grandkids a hug and hit the woods :-)
Congratulations! 20 more years here!
