Alright Guys, my youngest son just got his new bow from Mike @ Maddog and Vermonster13. First off I would like to say thank you very much guys. My son is 4. He had a right handed bow, but I could tell something was amiss when he was shooting. I checked and sure nuff, he is right handed and left eye dominate.
Well, when the Christmas giveaway came along I threw his name in the hat for a lefty and he got him one. I should have know he would, he is the luckiest boy I have ever seen. He won about 12 cakewalk style games at the harvest fest this year, but he only played about 12. He never lost. Maybe i should have him buy me a lottery ticket.
Anyways, I don't think I will have to tell you what he thought, you can see it in the pics.

Needless to say we have shot alot today. I mean alot. He is having a little trouble switching hands, but is hitting pretty well.
By the way guys, his favorite color is Red, could not have worked out any better. I will try to get some shooting pics up ASAP!!
God Bless and Thank You!,
Nathan
Now that's what I'm talking about! Congratulations to him. :clapper:

VERY KOOL  :archer:
That look on his face as he holds the bow out is priceless! Very cool! :notworthy:
Awesome :wavey: ....
Another Happy Camper. :clapper: :clapper:
I made that same switch myself years ago, best thing that happened with my shooting. It is fortunate that you recognized it so early.
That face says it all! :archer: Good on ya, Mike and Vermonster. :clapper:
My oldest son, the toothless one in the background in the first pic, is just a little jealous. Little does he know, when he can get a 40#@28" bow back to full draw, he well get himself a new custom bow. I thought maybe a Robertson like I shoot, but that will be up to him.
By the way, he is only about 2" from full draw (20ish") using his mom's 43#@28" Miami Valley Longbow. He don't have too long to wait.
God Bless,
Nathan
What a smile!!

Good for you!
gotta love it. way cool.
The coolest thing I've seen lately, Hope he enjoys his bow. Another great archer. My grand daughter is a lefty also. I am going to be looking for long bow for her soon. She will be out this July for two weeks. Looking forward to the visit.
:bigsmyl:
We should have a thread with just the pics and kids that have won so far, kinda all together?
Congrats
Mike and Vermonster are top notch for keeping the youth involved. Congrats to both you and your son. Goodtimes and great memories to come.
Thanks for sharing. His smile in the last pic is priceless. :clapper:
That IS the future of our common passion. We, all of us, have to take every opportunity we can to get the kids outside with bows in their hands.
