My son Robert turned 4yrs last Tuesday. He is always wanting to be outside with me shooting and compliments me on every shot by saying, "Good Shoot Papa!" I had this bow built to pass on to him when he gets older.
Tembo, 68", 51# @ 29", grey back/clear belly. African Blackwood riser and limb tips. Jason forgot to include a string so, no strung pics. They are getting one in the mail asap. Great people to deal with!

Notice how he says the wife's bow is on the top?
:D
Nice looking bow T.W.! I'm glad you're wife's bow is on top! My wife also shoots... It doesn't get any better than that!
Congratulations to Robert on a fine bow.
Great looking bow selection there.
Earl
Appreciate all the great comments folks. I've gone to the Hills and I'm not coming back. :D Tried lots of different longbows/recurves and for some reason, the Hills just kept calling to me! After reading up on Howard and his book Hunting The Hard Way the second time around, I just decided that this was what I've been looking for.
Plus, I have no troubles shooting them as long as they are long and the arrows are tuned to the bow.
I also got this great back quiver in today to go with the bow. I traded a bow quiver and Cold Steel Rifleman hawk with two extra handles for it. Trad member Sambo(Scott) is a great guy to deal with and communicator!

That's a nice Hill TW, Nothing for the freezer yet with the Kodiak Hunter, a few deflected misses in the thickets but we still have some time....Good Luck.....Bobby
Good luck to you also. I hope it come together for you!
That's great TW!
You've had the rest, now shoot the Best!
This is your FUN, no one elses!
Great looking bow.Cant wait to see it in action.
Great looking bow !!!!
Why didn't you take the string off the owl? Aren'T they the same length?
Duuuh! Didn't even think of that! :biglaugh:
Happy Endings...gotta dig it!! Your collection would make a Hill man proud.
He was just suffering from new bow mania Ben...happens to all of us rom time to time! :biglaugh:
Yes it does. :knothead:
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!! Congrats.
Nice! Real nice.
Very, very good.
I looovvvee that grey glass...And congrats to lil' Robert too.
Your right about Hill's calling you. I can't keep myself from shooting mine and wanting more.
Good shot Papa! You hit the gold on that one. I like the grey back and the black tips. Looks great. Take good care of it for your little guy.
Very cool!
More photos :coffee:
I find it interesting that their is so much enthusiasm for Hill bows, and on the opposite end, Ilf bows. I sold my almost new ILF so I could buy a Hill Bobcat. What a great little bow! Now I can't wait to get a slightly longer, heavier Hill. There is just something about those Hills that seems to suck people in. Pup
good looking bow
i like the tembo model
Great looking collection there. I figure everyone should have a least one Hill...one of these days I'm gonna do it.
Eric.
Glad to see your happy with the Hills...I feel that down the road there will be another Hill on my rack....just gotta wait for the right one. Or I'll just order the right one...lol!
Ron W, you might as well go ahead and order one. That way, you can get it just the way you want it! :D
We are having a crappy rainy day here so, I'll get some shooting pics in when there is a break in weather. For some weird reason, I sat in my chair last night for about an hour just holding the bow and drinking coffee. Good thing the wife and kids are away for the weekend. She would think me off my rocker! :biglaugh:
At least you don't break into a naked Indian wardance like I do! :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh: I'd say your pretty normal!
Spanky
To early in the day for the visual Spanky!
It's never late enough for that visual bud...trust me!!
Id like to see that myself. But did you sleep with her :archer2:
Uuhhh....no?

I know how you feel ! wierd isn't it eh ...thats why the only two styles of bow I shoot are Hillstyle longbows and ILF 'curves :)
There is just something about those Hills that seems to suck people in.
Its the handschock we love , the slow bow speeds ...
With a well tuned arrow and string, that little thump just tells me the bow is alive in my hands! As far as speed, they were fast enough for Howard, I recon they're fast enough for me. Besides, any faster and I might miss!
TW,
That is one very, very nice looking Hill ya got there.
Awesome!
Matt
