I need your advice. I am thinking about a Cari-bow Silver Fox and I always thought I would take one with a premium riser, as you can see beneath. This one is with Wenge and cocobole. Mind the limb wedge caps, they connect soo beatifull to the limbs and riser!
However, on Abe's site I saw a plain riser made from striped ebony and with French Walnut Burl Limbs. This is the second picture. One way or another, this bow calls my name. I also think that the French Walnut limbs wil look great without the antler and with antler limb bolts!
What would you choose????? (I think I need help) :help:

Wow... thats a tough one. The 1st really "pops" but the lower one is a classic beauty.
I feel the same....
pull out the coin and flip...better yet, Get both..
Please don't say that to me! :(
I like the bow in the lower image better on looks.
But you know what happens when you marry for looks. :saywhat:
Everyones tastes in beauty are different. If you can't decide - door #3. Keep looking.
That's like asking me to pick between my children. Abe's diamond riser is hard to beat but the woods in #2 are very classy. Sorry if I'm no help...Ryan
Your Dutch like me.... go with the more "subtle brilliance" of the ebony and walnut....
I love that bow.... Yea, I love that bow.
Ad: Rough thing to do is choose, they both are awesome. Good Luck Don
They both look great, but if they were both sitting there and I could only pick one, then the ebony/walnut one is my choice. Looks more "right" to me.
It is a tough thing in life to have to make such a difficult decision. LOL
Both bows are beautiful. Go with your gut feel. You are the one and the only one who can make the decision. You are the only one you have to please with your decision. One of them must stand out from the other for some reason. Even if it is a small reason - it is a reason. Take the one that tickles your fancy. It will continue to do so for a long time. If it doesn't, buy the other one at some time down the road.
Good luck! Shoot often and shoot for the fun!
Now to complicate it even more - I'd buy the striped ebony.
Both! I'd go with the bottom one, but if you go with the top maybe no antler
I'd choose the second for myself but that's really based completely on looks. Any chance you can shoot them?
bottom one

No chance I can shoot them. If i order one, Abe will have to build it, bacuase they are not in his inventory. Even if they were; I live in The Netherlamds and Abe in Canada, Thanks God! :bigsmyl:
I'll take the bottom one....darker, more figured wood.
Guess I'm the only one that likes the top one. With what I can see in the photos, if they both shot the same, I would choose the top one.
It's going to be your bow, you'll have to decide. Both are very nice though.
I like the Taiga, the bottom one ,very classic.I have a Taiga in solid cocobolo with Antler trim real nice classic look.
Hard choice! I do like the bottom one better though.
bottom one...no, top one....no, bottom one... no top one, heck flip a coin they're both awesome.
Bottom wins with me.
Bottom one, very clean and classic looking.
Personally I like number 2 with the darker woods.
Understated elegance !
Can they do the bottom in the same finish as the top? It may show the wood off better? Both Beautiful, very hard to choose. Went through this when i ordered my Wallace but when got it it really didn't matter. In person it was awesome!
If you can't swing buying both of them then I'm favoring #2... but for the sake of all that is good and just please, please try and buy both.
I like them both but I like the top one best -- especially the riser. Now those limbs on the bottom one -- wow!
Now I'm going to have to go check out this Cari-bow website. Not another one!
i like the top one but you cant go wrong with either
#2 for me.
just like simple dark woods.
Good for you! Sweet bow..
I like the bottom one,but then again I will not be the one holding her after the honeymoon is over.Looks like a win win situation to me.
sounds like a good problem to have
Bottom one. It looks like it was made to hunt.
Ain't it fun??? We are very fortunate to have many bowyers available who make very great looking and shooting bows. You, my friend are blessed with a very tough decision. Either bow is a winner. If I couldn't have both I would opt for the second one.
No the first. No, wait, the second! The first...
#1 you will not be happy till you finally get that fancy riser!!!!!
Top riser bottom limbs and no antler bolts.Maybe I'm picky but you asked. Best wishes on your choice. They both are something to be proud of.
Both are beautiful, but I'm kinda getting burnt out on everyone having their own version of the "footed" riser. I would go with the second one - simple elegance.
Tough choice--lucky dog!
