Title: New bow/ Carbon Spine Help
Post by: Rich in CO on January 09, 2011, 10:43:00 AM
I have a new to me Morrison Shawnee with arapahoe limbs 54@27 I draw 27 comming. I want a carbon to come in @ 500+ grains, with a 150 grain head if possible. (I have lots of 150 grain BH's) After playing with Stu's calculator it's telling me I'm going to need a 175 head.

Any ideas on how i can get the correct spine with 150 tip? Brass inserts?

Thanks
Rich

I was thinking of using the CE heritage line and if correct they are only 30in long, so going longer didn't cross my mind. Are the ce heritage longer than 30" if so I think the 250's would come in just fine.

Yes The CE Heritage shafts are 32.5" That is why I shoot them having a 30" true draw. They are a great arrow.
