Nice job! Congrats!!
Thanks Guys
Yea Corey, it was a couple days after Christmas and there was still a couple inches on the ground in North Alabama. Def makes a great story though. Ha I'm sure a couple inches will turn into a blizzard the more I tell it.
Wooddamon1, it's a Wing "Thunderbird" Late sixties to early seventies. Shoots extremely smooth. My grandad gave it to me.
Congrats!!!
Details of the hunt: It was around 4:30 in the evening. Doe is coming down the mountain to the bottoms. Walks broadside 20-25 yards in front of stand, and the next thing I knew I was shaking like crazy and couldn't believe what had happened. Hit her just a lil high and back, but the blood trail was a breeze in the snow.
Great job!!!
Very cool!
Congrats!
Very nice congrats on your first kill.

We all vividly remember our first trad kill...and many of had to enjoy many seasons of hard work to make that happen.

Nice hunting !! I've been at it for two years and not even a rabbit has been bagged :banghead: . As a matter of fact, I haven't even had the chance to let an arrow fly at anything !!! I am happy for you that you finally got a deer....maybe I'm next in line
