Just bought a Ben Pearson Cougar off a guy on ****. Any suggestion on where to get a new string? There's a guy sell son **** looks really really reasonable which makes me nervous but I don't want to put too much into it until I decide if it's a keeper or something to sell off later.
Any advice is welcome and appreciated :)

Three Rivers Archery Supply makes nice Flemish B-50 that would be a good choice for your Cougar.
SBD string or Oliverstacy strings. Both sponsors here
Champion Custom Bowstrings.... Chad makes great strings and is first class....
Any of those will serve you well.
You might also try your hand at making one. Lots of good instruction is available.
I just got an OliverStacy string and can't imagine getting anything different in the future. Love them.
I started making my own Flemish twist strings with B50. It was pretty much a necessity when I started making my own self bows, otherwise I would go broke buying strings and this way I can customize the string to fit the bow.
It's not hard and there's a plan for a Flemish twist string jig right here on Trad Gang.
Here's the link to it........

George at Tollgate Traditions, a sponser here, makes a great B-50 string and ships them out very fast.

Ditto.
Only custom string Guy I've dealt with.
I have had only the best experiences.
oliverstacy over in the sponsors classifieds.
Get the video, Doing the Twist, and you'll be making a quality string real quickly.
Chad can fix you up!
Oliverstacy in the classifieds. I have bought a bunch of strings from Josh in the last year or so and they are perfect every time. Great guy to deal with too. As a matter of fact, I just got a new set of limbs for an ILF and I need a new string myself, so get in line.
