These arrows turned out awesome. They spine out at 65# and weigh in at 590-595 grains with 125 grain points. I'm donating these to the Michigan Longbow Association's winter banquet to auction off. There is 6 with my banana burn, and 6 with flu flu's. It's for the archer who would like a set of arrows to go small and large game hunting, and doesn't want to buy a dozen of each.

I love the dark stain and the way it brings out the grain. Awesome job!
Those a pretty sharp looking. By spining them to the pound you have also figured out the true attribute that makes great arrows.

Very pretty. I'd hate to lose one!
I have seen some really great arrow smiths on this site, some real artisans, a talent that not everyone has.
Thanks for the compliments guys, it really means alot to hear good things. Especially when I didn't get started in making arrows till just 6 months ago. I use it to relax in the evening, and my 2 sons (7 and 5) have even gotten involved in the process with me. It's great family fun in the winter.
As for what stain, I used Minwax Ebony as the dark stain (2 coats), and then for the lighter color, I mixed 3 different stains I had left over from a job, so it's a crap shoot on that one.
nice
