The more i shoot this bow the more im impressed.I dont think i have shot better or more consistant all the way around and at long distance than this bow. Im not sure if its the extra length or the weight ebony in the handle.Anyone having another one of thies bad handshock bows :D that you hate to shoot contact me.Looking for 64" 56-58lb @28 lefty.

Ben, congratulations. That Wesley is a sweet bow. Enjoy.

I'm sure Ben tried to get a picture, but his bow arm was probably vibrating too much for the camera to focus on it! :^)
Seriously, Ben, don't you start buying up all those tooth rattlers. That's my gig!!!! :^)
I just bought a yew Pete George left hander, if it hurts to much to shoot it maybe I will need to give it up to someone tougher than me. Just kidding, I am actually afraid of how much I will like it.

Lol - nice one! :D
Some folks take to the simplicity of straight handled purity. Not to say curves are inferior. Schafer, Blacktail, Widow, others, etc. are beauty personified. But, there IS a shooting difference.
Told ya Ben :bigsmyl:
Have fun buddy!!
Tracy
Nice bow, eh.
Here is the only picture with the limbs bent. (http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj10/longbowben/DSC06776.jpg)
Sorry Dick i thought i would try your trick. And its not working.
Nice bow , I will try and give one a try . They really are beautiful bows
I don't expect that longbowben or Gerardo will come close to agreeing with me but there is one thing that would make that bow more beautiful... put the shelf on the other side!!...lol
Awesome! Thanks for showing off those long graceful looking limbs doing what they do best.
God bless,Mudd
Nice looking bow I really like the 64" and up ones, I also agree with Mudd move the shelf to the other side that would make it that much better. lol!
I Wish i was right handed lots more bows to choose from.
Another convert.....was hoping we could keep the Hill Secret just a little longer.
:D
Very nice. I alaways wondered about a HH. I would love to shoot one someday
Hey, Mudd, why ruin perfection! That shelf is on exactly the proper side. Some day you righties are going to learn that. :readit:
I know I'd love to get a chance to shoot one like this one but if I did I'd have o make sure the arrow spine was perfect and I'd have to do something to protect the bow since the arrow would be shot off my hand.
Dick in Seattle said he made some Hill style bows without a self.(How cool is that? Way! I'm saying..)
If we had one like that David either one of us could shoot it...lol
God bless,Mudd
Hi, Mudd..... funny you should mention. I'm currently making an all bamboo under clear glass (even the riser is all bamboo!) Hill style and for reasons we won't go into, I had to grind the blank down to narrower than I had planned. So, I'm looking at it and thinking how cool it would look as a no shelf, shoot off the hand bow, with a riser wrapped in leather thong. It's an extreme string follow design off an old form I just rebuilt. Not sure whether I'll go with the no shelf or not, but it would be an interesting bow... Ought to look like Howard's old wood bows...

I want to be the 1st to offer to do your testing for it Dick. As an old self bow shooter I could run it through it's paces no problem...lol
I like how it's looking!! I didn't have glass on the one I made so it's string follow eventually got to the point it's cast was terrible but it started out just like yours.
I kind of hate it that my lung doctors said "No more!" You make building those slick little "Hill like" bows look like fun.
Thanks for sharing.
God bless,Mudd
Dick,Just like Mudd said, that is a cool looking bow,Curious as to how it shoots, keep us posted.
