Other than dental floss, which seems to be a very common material to tie in nock locators, what does everyone like to use? B50? Crown Serving? ? ? ?
artificial sinew make a single tie like you make starting to tie your shoe go 180 deg..opp side of string another knot do this for 6 or 7 knots double tie the last burn loose ends..you should be able to screw the know up or down your serving its all i use...
I like to serve mine with blue BCY 60 (.021)I think,I cant remember the diameter.
I use left over B50 for my nocking points.
I've used serving material. Worked great. Just like stickbow said it makes it adjustable. There's a thread in the how to section on it.

I've used monofilament fishing line 30lb or so for years... tie off and melt the ends... never any issues...
