Traded for a box of junk yesterday and have a few questions. I think the site pins are for the Bear site window but the nock is the first one I’ve seen like it.

That nock is cooler than cool.Must have been someones proto type that didnt take off or something. Thanks for sharing.

that is pretty neat. looks like it would give you just enough space for your fingers ... i have an issue with self-nocks , this would take care of it.
and i believe those sight pins are for a bear. they look just like the ones on my whitetail hunter , but i dont know for sure that they are factory...

I have some nocks like that from an old stash I bought many years ago. They've been plastic too long for me to use.

If those are really Bear sights, and you want to get rid of them, maybe we can work out a trade.
-
Those look like broken Bear sight pins. The factory pins had a loop at the end.

I think I seen field archery nocks like those that where from England or one of those countrys across the pond..

In 1976 I bought a Bear 76er (bicentennial model)t/d metal riser recurve. The pins looked just like those if memory serves me right.

I should look before I "add reply". That should be site pins.

Yep, in 1977 I bought my first compound. A Bear Alaskan that had these sight pins that actually fit in the face of the riser. Still got the bow and pins. Kinda like a collector. Would be afraid to shoot it.
