I went on Vince's site and ordered a new 1 Pc LB. I ordered the riser in Cocobolo with a Bocote flare, Tonkin cane limb core and bamboo veneers. Should be smooth. I have 6 long weeks to wait. Let me see pics if you have any of Mohawk LB. Thanks. Ken
This one has Red Elm veneers with bamboo cores, its a really nice bow to shoot and Vince is awesome to deal with.

You made a huge mistake ordering that bow from Vince; the stress of waiting is just too much. Have him ship it to me instead ;-)

Vince is a class guy and his bows are excellent.
Im guessin you'll like it !! I know I liked the 6 I had, or 7, or ... Heck I can't remember, Vince is Super & so are his L/B's ... It's just that Im a L/B "NUT" !!! Have a Blast with her !!!
Fine.Fine..bows.
I hate Mohawks.... NOT! I own 3 How many times have I said this. I have owned and shot the best. The only bow I shoot now is a 'Hawk. I own 3 a 62"er 49#'s @ my 27 "'s. Cocoabolla /bocote riser boo cores and dirty boo veneers. SWEET Bow! Then there 's my 64"er GREY ACTIONWOOD riser actionboo cores BLACK GLASS. 50lbs@ my 27" draw. THIS BOW IS A FREAK faster and quieter than any Trad Bow I ever shot! Check the archives! First deer I drew back on with this bow was dead as soon as I hit it. Perfect heart shot. 14 yards. Then there's my PRETTY MOHAWK a 2 piece. Perfect Cocoabolla riser actionboo cores Museum quality Red Elm veneers WHAT A BEAUTY! 50lbs @ my 27" draw too. Gotta wack something with this one. I love my MOHAWKS!
Got a Mohawk on order; should not be too long now as I ordered in early December. 66 inch, 55 lb at 28 inches. Yew veneers and bamboo core lams. Cocobolo riser. Can't wait!
Ken,
Almost Like Yours. Scaling down for 2011. 28 bows is a bit over kill.

Lone Wolf, That is a beauty!!! :notworthy:
Well, heck I can jump on board. I have 2 Hawks. I have a 40 pounder my son shoots, 64 inches and a 66 incher that is 54 @ 30. I put a new string on the other day, beautiful sunny 16 degrees with a bit of a breeze. The string is black and yellow from SBD. WOW, the bow is noticably quicker and quieter. Also, still hits where I aim, no hand shock!! All boo limbs and 66 inches makes my 30 inch draw feel a lot lighter than 54 pounds. I love shooting and looking at my Mowhak! I bet you will too. Good on ya buddy!
