I am very excited to have gotton this Super Shrew Gold! The grip is the best I've ever had on a longbow. I am also suprised at how quick it is for a 50 lbs. bow!!!
I got it a few days ago and have been out of town, and got home today and got it dialed in! Man I am so excited about it!!!
Couple questions:
1. I've got a Kanati (anawakee archery) quiver on it. The instruction sheet says somethign about not having a quiver around the limb base that consticts it, as it might cause damage to the bow? I will re read it, but is this quiver ok to use with the bow or should I go with a different style?
2. I've found the brace height that it likes is about 7 3/4... Is that uncommon with shrews? I draw about 29.5 inches and this is a 60 inch bow...

Steve you are fine with the quiver and the brace height for starters. Play around with it from 7 3/8 to where you are right now for comparison purposes. Real nice point and shoot qualities in the shrew. Enjoy.tm
Steve, That is a looker for sure. Can I have first dibbs when your ready to sell it!!
Congrats on your Shrew! Very Nice  KY :archer:
Sure thing Ed! They don't get any better than this, but I do get board real easy...
I think this would be the perfect bow if it were made in 64' long...
I got a real nice Yew and Cocobola Widow that you have seen before!! LOL
I LOVE my Super Shrew Gold (that I got from LAR43). The osage is aging with a rich orange glow... :D ... I'm a happy camper too! Best Of Luck.
... mike ...
Ed, I can't believe "Builder" sold it back to you! Good for you!
These shrews are sure nice! They feel like a match stick after shooting a widow recurve, but it is so nice!!!
Big Ed, I'm right behind ya...
LOL>>>>>
Nice Bow Pastor Steve...
A true beauty to behold.. be yet a true beauty to Be-holding.
To say it's nice "doesn't cut the mustard" with this one.
Congratulations!!
Please don't show me any more bows like this as I have more than enough on my wish list as it is...lol
God bless,Mudd

Beautiful bow, and I'll bet it's a shooter.
Steve, PM sent, I'll take it. OOP's wrong forum, thought this was the Classifieds :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Awesome Shrew!
I give it a week and then she's back on the block.
Enjoy it , looks great
Mike, how is my osage centaur doing for ya?
That is one I still dream about...
Great Looking Bow !!
Now Pastor, are you encouraging your fellow Tradgangers to break the 10th commandment by the title of your thread?!?!?!?!? :saywhat:
Great looking bow Steve. I had a 50# Super Samaurai I got from Ralph in Georgia. I had a weak moment one day and sold it back to him. Still sick over that one. Hang on to this one.
Steve, getting ready to pack it up and send it off to Jim for a little stippeling. Nice looking Shrew you have there.
Thnx... I love the centaur longbows, always have, but the grip on the shrew is a whole different sweetheart. I do wish it were a little longer. It doesn't stack or anything, I'm just use to a little bit longer, longbow.. I'm sure I'll get use to it... In any case it sure shoots nice... I am still in a cast with my injury, but I've been shooting a little and seem to really have taken to it...
There is another great bow from Ron
A fine looking bow!!! I enjoy my Super Shrew Delux.
That is one sweet looking bow.  And that quiver is the best I have used on my Shrew.
I would love to try a shrew, might be next on the list.
