who is debuting new bows and products next month at KaZoo? I hearSouth Cox of Stalker Bows is bringing some new models. Bill Dunn ususally has a new bow or limb design to unveil. Eclipse has the Werewolf. What do you hear? What do you want to see?
I hope Abe Penner/Caribow makes it this year. Really want to check out his Lynx or Slynx bow. Love those beavertail grips.
I have heard that Bear Archery will be there. I can't wait to fondle a new "Grayling Green" Super K. Their Ausable longbow looks interesting too.
Do they have a website, or does anyone have a list of exhibitors?
A few buddies and myself are going to make the drive, and I want to know who and what I can expect.
Thanks,
Dusty
Is the show still the last weekend in January?
There is info on the Trad Events forum. I'm not smart enough to know how to post the website but it is in that forum. There is an older thread on Powwow that lists some vendors too. Expect to have fun.
Here ya go , keep an eye on this site to find out

The limbs from your ZSR will fit your SXT just fine. They are the same limb. They will be 2 lbs heavier on your SXT.See you soon.
Can't wait to see what Bill Dunn has now. Should be another good show this year.

Thanks Rob Yes we have added the 56" this year which we had at Comptons also have 4 new things going for 2011.Two should be ready for Kzoo. The other two might be a few more weeks out. Everyone stop by we will have more bows on the racks than ever before to shoot.
X2 On St Joes River bows...they build a bad ass bow. Super smooth and super fast....Thanks Dave & Tracey
Glad to hear you will have more bows Dave, that sweet short bow was so popular last year it was hard to get a chance to shoot it. Looking forward to seeing Chad's longbow. Chad, make sure there is one 45-50# to try! Great place to get your hands on quality archery gear. The only place I don't mind standing in line to test drive bows!!
The new public unveiling of the Wensel/Mitten Bros. bowhunting production of "Essential Encounters" Primal Dreams II DVD will be at Kzoo. bw
Barry,
You don't have that on a loop tape with bad music do you? I was next to Gene for 3 days when the first one came out and about shot him. LOL
Mike
Does Brothers of the Bow bring those great flashlights with them? Anybody else know of something new and exciting to see at KaZoo? Not that the "Regulars" aren't great

Hope we have the booth next to you again Barry
Owlbait, yes we'll be bringing the Mainbeam flashlights with us too. Seeing is believing. We're also planning to bring along a new model they are experimenting with that's the same small size and price but they are trying to upgrade them. This new one is max 304 lumens and runs for 200 hours on the lowest setting on one pair of batteries. That's unreal for something the size of a magic marker. BW
Thanks Barry. I decided to pick one up this next year and KaZoo will be perfect.. I just won Mike Mitten's book and a copy of Primal Dreams that I hope to share with my classroom. Will Mike be at KaZoo?
Here's the DVD jacket/insert for "Essential Encounters - Primal Dreams II". I don't have a pic of the actual DVD yet, just my art file, so imagine this wrapped around a DVD :^)

Looks great Gary.By the way Barry, the money for my copy is on the way.
We will have several new things at Kalamazoo. We are also planning to unvale our new hunting video.Tracy is working over time trying to get all the editing done in time.
Both our longbow and recurve limbs are now available with the accelerater wedge. It ups the performance another notch. It is only available with the carbon and foam option.
We are also planning to have a take down bow for the more budget minded shooter.A bare bones hunter model using our classic limbs. The evolution limbs will not be available on this bow.
Then there is the new ILF risers and limbs. We will have them with us aswell.A lot of new stuff going on around the Zipper shop.
Bill
Sounds like I'm going to be spending alot of time at the Zipper booth again this year. :goldtooth:
Bill
4 weeks to go! Any other bows, ideas, vendors, or products we should mention?
Barry or Gary,
Any trailers for the new DVD to tide us over until the new one is released?

Dan
Does anyone know if bringing used bows for sale is allowed or must one have rented a booth to sell/trade?
The last few times there was a vendor that would sell your bows for you for a slight commission. I think that is the only way you can do it under their rules. Check with Great Northern to find out for sure.
Gregg and I have been talking about a 62" Super Shrew. All of the past Supers have been a maximum length of 60". Gregg's working on a SS Deluxe Take down in 62" for the show. We'll also have an Armstrong Ghost for display and trial.
See you there.

People abused it years ago so you have to drop them off with Recycled Recurves (Lonnie Collins) It actually is a nice system. You get more people looking at them, you don't have to haul it around, and Lonnie is great to deal with.
Unfortunately I have a work trip scheduled, and am extending it one day, to go to Kzoo, I can't wait

David, absolutely... I'm already checking out your recurves on the site... Nice work, and it will be a pleasure to meet you in person.

 :scared: I know the first bow I'm shooting friday night!
Anyone know what sort of commission Lonnie Collins (recycled recurves) asks?
I'm pretty sure that it was Lonnie that I talked to last year when a fella told me to just leave my bow on his table and pay him whatever I felt if it sold. Seems pretty fair.
Up for SW MI. man Mike to look at.

That would be Lonnie.
I will be there helping out at the Arrow-Fix booth. We'll plan on doing a little demonstration also. It'll be a fun weekend!
OwlBait- Yes I will be at the Brothers of the Bow booth. I hope Gene and Barry bring those wire brimed hats that were so popular at Denton Hill last July. I will also be spending a little time at the Sitka Gear booth or seeing whats new from Tall Tines Trad Archery. Mike
owlbait: I was just on cari-bow website drooling as always, and it says he is going to be there.
Getting closer and more and more of the bowyers, vendors, and great people I want to see will be there. Luckily, my wife likes to go, she even has helped out Teresa Asbell in her booth. I get to go Friday and Saturday. A day trip just isn't long enough for me anymore!
I forgot to mention earlier we have a new line of youth bows, should have 6 of them at the show. in Weghts of 17# to 35#@24"
I jumped on here a little late, but I'll be debuting my 1 piece longbow as well as bringing some of the new 3 piece longbows. Do me a favor and turn up the thermostat out there before I come out...those sub-freezing temps are BRUTAL!
Make sure to bring a few LH models as well...

They make them things any brighter and they'll soon be illegal to use near airports!
The new breed of flashlights is one technology I do embrace while hunting; or just keeping in my coat pocket the rest of the time.
